The
ballroom was impressive and rather large. Looking from the outside of the Manor one would not think a room of this size would fit, but thanks to magic it did. Just off to the left was the area reserved for
dining. The decorations were simple but elegant and as feminine in nature as his two over-zealous advisers could get away with. On the right side of the ballroom there were a number of overly large french doors which opened on a courtyard decked out for the winter weather and spelled so that the temperature would be comfortable to walk in without a cloak but yet would not melt the snow.
This time Kingsley had been able to doge the job of greeting guests, instead he was in the rather big ballroom. He smiled and greeted the people who came up to him, congratulating him on his birthday. He would have been much happier with a small family gathering, but he would have to wait for tomorrow night when he would have dinner with them. When he was alone once more he shifted a bit, yet again uncomfortable. The
outfit was nothing more than normal, he was use to wearing suits, but the shoes. He hated new shoes. He had not been allowed to break them in properly and could already feel the blisters forming.
