I am only curious. And do not feel you have to answer, if you do not wish to do so.

My question concerns those of you who have had old loves show up here, or those of you who have shown up in this place and found your loves with someone else. This is...strange to me, as I have explained before, but that is not what this is about.

I wonder only how many of you still loved the other when you arrived here? And how long you have been here. And how you replaced them so easily.

And also, do any of you have loves back home that you have remained faithful to?

Aye, indeed, milady... I have not had the - er - "good fortune" to have ANY of my old loves turn up here, but well... I have not found anyone else I would want to be with, here ~~save maybe... oh nevermind...!~~ and thus, I'm still faithful to my LAST love, who... was actually missing for quite some time, before I was ~~killed~~ spirited away to this island!

I mean, honestly, if HE were to show up, I would be.... well, ecstatic, and just a little nervous, to be honest, because of the scars upon my body, from my... NOT-Lovers, who "made love" to me anyhow...! I mean, I don't believe Bozo would understand why I did what I did....! To SURVIVE, you understand, but... still... well... I dunno what he'd think, and frankly, I don't CARE to find out... ~~Or...do I? I mean, I AM terribly lonely upon this island...~~

I cannot imagine giving my heart to someone I have known for such a short while, or indeed, giving my heart to anyone else at all. I do not know how long most people have been here, but is a year, perhaps two, long enough to forsake those you loved at home, without warning? Is the human heart so fickle?

Worry not, little one. The one you love, if he truly loves you, would not see such scars as anything other than tragic hurts to you. And if he does, then he does not deserve you.

Indeed, milady, do you really think so...? But... what would he say if he knew that I actually SUBMITTED to being... hurt, in such a fashion? I mean, he was always so... carefree, even during the war...! Didn't really believe anything bad could ever happen to me, or indeed, to our Ministry...! Of course, I thought the same; I had intended to pursue a political career after the war... and NOT as a concubine - or rather, more accurately, a WHORE - of the men in charge of the policies...! I mean, honestly, I don't even KNOW how Bozo would have reacted to the end of the war; he was long gone, on an assignment for this one journalist he worked for, Rita Skeeter, for WEEKS on end before the war's end came so... suddenly...!

Should I perhaps filter this, milady? ~~Just in case... you know... HE shows up?~~

But it seems to me that love, if it were true, would never torture you for something that you did to survive. But forgive me, I do not know what a whore is. Ah, filter it as you will. Indeed, milady...! I mean, honestly, I don't think Bozo would actually TORTURE me any further... Simply that he may decide... I dunno, perhaps that he may rather seek out a new love, with someone who is not so... broken as I am...! I mean, I AM broken, truly, good madame...! I mean, I cannot SLEEP most nights, without thinking back to those dark days ~~and nights!~~ of post-war business... with those Monsters...!
