Greetings to whomever finds this note,

I have been informed that we are on a space station. I, much like Jacob Frye, have only arrived here recently. We have been here long enough to settle down at least, and thanks to Sophia, have been given a great deal of information about our new home.

I do however have an inquiry I wish to share. From what I have observed, this space station is like an island, floating in a sea of stars. There are worlds out there beyond those stars and there are means to travel to them in the form of space ships. I wish to learn how to sail one of these ships. Might there be someone willing to teach me? I would ask you to name your price, of course.

Aye, you and my daughter both. But being alive while they were invented, and tested and seeing all the things that can go wrong... And the sorrow it brings when they do... It's not something I can do sober.

Oh there is a way, but I don't know what use I would be to you if I'm hiding in the bulkhead. Don't most pirates believe it's bad luck to have a woman on board?
