It has been suggested that if one types words into this box everyone else with a device may have the ability to read and reply. Is this correct? Please forgive me if this is a blatantly obvious question, all of this wonderful future technology is very new to me.

I'll give you a bit of advice, if it seems mental, or a figment of your imagination, don't blink for too long because it probably isn't and you should move fast. And also, trees won't always save you from running.

That bit about the trees, are we being literal again or merely figurative?

Very literal. The first time I did it, I only had time to get 'bloody hell' out of my mouth before something I could not identify started scaling the tree.

I'm no stranger to having people follow me when I scale trees or buildings, but I will keep that in mind.

Nor am I, but people are easy, it's when you can't identify what's chasing you when it's hard.

And here I thought I was going to have the chance to relax a while.

With people you should be fine, while your here. It's elsewhere that I can't promise that sort of safety. But if you have some fellow station people with you, know you'll have someone to fight by your side, should you need it.

Elsewhere? And that is good to know, a good fight every now and again suits me just fine.

This part will sound unbelievable: There are doors that lead to other worlds outside the station. Currently there is one opened to the Norse God realm called Asgard.

Right. Of course. That makes perfect sense.

It will stop sounding ridiculous at some point, I promise

Not because it will be less ridiculous, but instead I will eventually give in to the madness and start to see it as routine?

That seems to be the gist of it, yes.

My manners seem to have escaped me, I'm Marian of Knighton. I would like to say it's been a pleasure, but somehow I feel I might have made things more confusing for you, and I cannot take any pleasure in that.

A pleasure, Sir Jacob Frye. And please don't trouble yourself, I would say you have made some things clearer and I do appreciate that.

Does that mean you're a Knight?

I was knighted by Queen Victoria, though I’d wager the title means something different to you.

Well, it was more than a title. Or the ones knighted by King Richard or when my father was Sheriff were. Prince John and Sheriff Vaisey's knights weren't to be trusted.

I cannot promise that I am entirely trustworthy, but I can say that I was granted my title for bravery and service to the Queen and the realm. I may not have an armored horse or fight at the bidding of others, but I'm fairly certain I've not done anything to tarnish either notion of the title.

Well, that is far better than it was given to you because she was appeasing some noble. And armored horses would have been made a liability with the use of black powder.

I'd like to think so at the very least. And I can confirm it is very better for horses not to be armored where firearms are concerned.

In all honesty it hampers the horses movements, making it more difficult for them to move quickly should the need arise. Even without the use if firearms. You're better with a horse that trusts you, and you have a bond with. I prefer a bow and arrow myself, and a sword.

Personally, I am much better off without horses in general, but every so often I do have to borrow a cart or a carriage. I find I prefer the railway, not that luck has been any better with it.

I find I prefer blades, but there are occasions when pistols are very handy. Have you had much call to rely upon your bow and your sword here?

Do you have a fear of horses? I've only ever been on a train, so you'll have to excuse my ignorance. Can you travel easier on railways when you're from?

I dislike how they feel in my hands, the lack of actual control of the shot.

I would like to say no, but there have been occasions where we needed to defend ourselves. And I'm not one to sit on my skirts and leave the heroics to the men.

No, I simply have the worst luck with them, poor creatures. I acquired a train in '68, and lived aboard it for several years as it made a circuit around and through London.

It takes a great deal of practice, even I struggle with the larger rifles from time to time.

Good on you, Miss Marian, glad to hear it.

You acquired a whole train?

I'd rather stick to what I know, what I'm good at.

I was outlawed for that sort of mindset though.
