Well the bits about me dying is because there was a pocket universe built up around me when a time beetle from the Trickster landed on my back. In the world, I had never met you because my car turned the wrong way. That lead to you dying and not regenerating and a whole mess of really really bad things. Rose found me though, thanks to her dimension canon and with the TARDIS, sent me back in time to fix it. I wasn't going to make it though so I just.. jumped in front of a lorry. Traffic jam, and my former self turns the right way again.

But as for the other stuff. Well there was a two way biological metacrisis.
