Okay. Wow. This is really weird.

2011...what was I doing in 2011?

This is enough to give me a headache.

Okay...Claire? Jack? I know you were around back then. Back now? Time travel really screws with language.

( OOC: Caroline. From Colligo future. A hundred and fifty years or so future. )

Yeah. That's me.

Of course, we're friends when I'm from. Hard to not eventually get along with the handful of immortal people in the city.

Yeah, probably helps to get along... </s>but I better not be stuck here that long.</s>

It's just a hypothetical future. I've encountered a few of them in the couple of years I've been here. Though Caroline is from the furthest point so far, I think.

Oh PHEW! Thank you, Claire! That was a pretty scary thought! I'd noticed all the crazy things going on the past couple weeks, but I wasn't sure how much timeline branching that involved exactly. The flipped sexes are pretty obviously alternates.

Yeah the city seems to be in overdrive right now. Which, you know, any time it wants to stop so I can have my husband and brother-in-law back, that would be super.

As for the folks from the future, they're definitely all potential futures of Colligo. Which isn't to say Caroline's isn't the one that'll happen, but with people always getting sent back and new ones showing up, nothing is set in stone around this place.

Yeah, the whole archangel and whatever thing? Did a little kid really put them in their places? City really needs to let you have your husband back in general.

I do believe there's a very precise technical term for this: wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey.

Yep. Ultimate family smackdown. Oh, and don't let Adam's size fool you. Yes, he's a kid but he's also the Antichrist. And can literally manipulate reality to suit his whims. Definitely a good ally to have. Not so fun if he's mad at you, though.

And I do believe you're right, on the technical term. There really isn't any other way to describe it.

So. Should I ask how you're doing after the whole Rose thing or is this one of those times where I really shouldn't be such a girl and expect someone to discuss their actual feelings?

The Antichrist. Uh. I'll just pretend that makes sense to me!

I get it from the expert!

Rather not talk about it.

[OOC: Since it's unfinished, I don't really know yet how Jack will be after it. So... Jack dodges!]

Son of Lucifer. Unstoppable power in a tiny little package. He was here for a while, before. Actually, he and Molly were best friends when she was a kid. He's the reason we have Chomper. Apparently he got bored and decided to make dinosaurs come back to life.

Speaking of, I saw the 'discussion' you two had. Tough situation.

Fair enough.

That's a pretty cool power to have right there-- summon dinosaurs! Oh, the things I could do with that... Our pteranodon would have a friend!

It was definitely an interesting time, that's for sure! I mean, it was all created by Adam, so some things weren't quite right - more, how he understood dinosaurs to be. But none of them ate people, which I considered a good thing at least.

And believe me, with him back in the city, there's every chance we'll go through something like that again. He definitely has an active imagination.

Young boy's idea of dinosaurs must be pretty awesome and willing to play with kids, I'd imagine? My grandson is crazy about dinosaurs, so I'm pretty familiar with that age group's view of them!

Here's hoping for MORE DINOSAURS!

Oh definitely. Chomper doesn't eat any meat unless it's pre-processed. And he's a raptor that I'm pretty sure is going to stay baby!sized forever.

Or pirates. We were pirates for a while, too.

He's like the teacup dog of dinosaurs!

See, I already have the built-in piratey name, so it's almost too easy for me to be a pirate.

Oh my Chuck. Do not tell Dean that, ok? He'll be looking to be rid of Chomper by the weekend, upgrading to some manly 't-rex' or something.

Uh-huh. You say that. But it's not as easy being a pirate as you think, you know. Unless you've been a pirate before. As in, an actual lives on the ocean/robbing other vessels of treasure type pirate. In which case, ignore my entire statement.

Chuck? Okay, I won't! And you don't tell him how there's nothing manlier than a t-rex's tiny wimpy arms...

Okay, only a space pirate and no scurvy, so there would be some adjustment. But I'm totally used to weevil infestations! Just not of the kind seen on ships of the sea.

Yes. The name of God in Dean's reality. Chuck. Chuck Shurley, to be exact.

I'm not sure Adam would even know what a weevil infestation was in order to duplicate it on his pirate ships. But you could always talk to him about it?

... and I was JUST KIDDING. In no way should you befriend Adam Young, Jack. I mean it. The kid has enough ideas without you adding to them! ;)

It does.

Well...you are as far as I know, but I also know that futures here aren't always the same for everyone. For all I know, I'm from a different timeline from this version of Colligo all together.

I really need to learn my lesson about this damn PDA.

And the being friends thing wouldn't be a bad thing, didn't mean it like that! Which is why I meant to delete it.

Hey, I completely understand. This place isn't for everyone.

Maybe after I go back, you can get to know other-me.

( Jack )
Back home? Pretty much everyone important to me either died horribly or got seriously fucked over. I like here better.

But I really do get that some people do want to go back.

Yeah, I'd much rather be on other planets by choice, not by kidnapping.

Maybe! But would other-you think it's weird to randomly get a hello from me?

[Caroline]
Uh, wow, yeah. That gives you plenty of reason to start a new life here.

Can't say I can't relate to that over the years, but things have been good
for us at home, so in our case, want to be back home.

At least here if bad things happen, they usually get fixed.

Probably not. I mean her best friend does sometimes work for you.

( Jack )
Yeah. I mean, heck. I got smothered with a pillow and turned into a vampire when I was seventeen. Home isn't exactly a warm, fuzzy place.

But I know that's not how it is for everyone. So I hope you do get sent back, even if it does mean one less person hanging around down the line.

I should really clear up employment situation!

[Caroline]
What. The. Hell. And who the hell. I don't even know what to say to that except what the hell some more. Yeah, that is SERIOUSLY not warm or fuzzy.

Maybe you'll get some other immortal buddies sometime.

I was in a car accident. And Damon gave me blood to heal me, because vampire blood can heal you. But if you die with it in your system, you start transitioning. You either drink human blood and become a vampire, or you die. Katherine, this really old vampire, needed another vampire for a sacrifice, so she found out I had the blood in my system and she smothered me with a pillow. The rest, as they say, is history.

Oh, I have quite a few.
