What the heck's going on? I know it's a Saturday, but unexpected trips are still a bad idea. I swear I'm the only adult in this family.

( OOC: Say hello to AU Alaric. Isobel kept Elena, and still went to Duke and married Ric. Ric adopted Elena and they've been a happy family for a while now. He has no idea about vampires or anything like that, beyond Isobel's research and he's never been to Mystic Falls. )

Perfectly real. One hundred and ten percent real, even with all the mathematical impossibilities that entails. In fact, Is was the reason we became friends. A very convoluted, complicated reason, but the reason all the same.
