You know what? This place is nuts. I'd say I was drunk and imagining all of this, except that it's impossible for me to get that drunk in the first place.

The term we use for beings who are not human. That includes humanoids with abilities or creatures such as phoenixes and mermaids.

Then I am correct in presuming you are a shapeshifter?

We just go by mutant, back home.

And yes, I am. Give me a good description or an image and I can look like anyone, big or small, right down to the sound of their voice and the clothes they wear.

So what about you, then?

Semantics. Same meaning, different word. Although if you prefer the term mutant, than I can refer to you as such.

And you are fairly young too. It can take years for a shapeshifter to have that level of control. Do you often shapeshift?

Nothing as miraculous as your gift, I'm afraid.

Like you said. It's just semantics. I'm just used to being mutant and proud.

I've been a shapeshifter since I was born. I'm twenty-six now. I used to change forms a lot when I was younger, mostly because it was a lot easier to get people to trust me when I wasn't blue with yellow eyes. I'm only just recently getting back into shifting, other than my normal 'non-blue' look, but I guess I just have a knack for it or something.

And while that's about as modest as my brother sounds when talking about his ability, that still doesn't tell me what it is you can do.

Mutant and proud. I rather like that saying. It's catchy in it's own right.

I know I am asking rather personal questions. It has been my life work to help abnormals in the world. Although, you may already know this from the last time I was in the city.

My abnormality is Longevity. I've been alive since the Victorian days of England. It isn't natural It was an experiment
