Dobson House Warming Party!
Who: Everyone
Where: Dobson manor
When:Week 4, Saturday, evening
Why: Housewarming party at Dobson manor.
Warning: Social party and getting to know each other, but no other warnings yet.

Tabitha took a deep breath as looked at herself in the mirror. In only a few minutes, her first party here at Beacon hills would begin. She'd spent the better part of the week ensuring the whole manor be washed and decorated properly in reds and gold.

All sorts of foods prepared and laid out beautifully beside an open bar filled with various alcohol and even some blood bags for the visiting vampires. Tabtiha made sure there was no expense forgone, no extravagance missed. This was going to be a party that was not quickly forgotten, she wanted to be sure of it.

Smoothing her hands over her cream colored dress one more time nervously, she stepped out of her room and down the grand staircase to greet her guests.

Buffy wasn't quite sure she'd ever get used to the amount of social functions she had to attend in Ambrose's world, but she certainly did enjoy the numerous chances to get his attention in the best of ways with the sort of dresses she got to pick out for them. He'd mentioned being fond of black and red, so the ensemble she'd chosen was a lovely red one that was just short enough to show off the legs he seemed to be fond of. She wore her blond hair mostly down and found that she was getting good at applying minimal amounts of make-up to make her disguise as a real girl be all that more compelling. Her lips matched her dress for the evening, and she didn't have to fake feeling like she looked damn good.

Her master, of course, always managed to pull off looking elegant and put together. Attached to his arm, she sometimes felt like he could pull off a pair of torn jeans and still convincingly carry himself like some sort of king.

Ambrose had let Buffy choose her outfit this time, a little sadden as he loved to surprise her with new clothes but she had choose well. She wore red like she was made for it. Ambrose on the other hand was was dressed a bit more casual(without a tie) in his light grey suit. Really it was Buffy that was the beautiful one and Ambrose was just there for the ride.

He had order in a basket perfect for the occasion. It had three bottles of some of the best wine, red, white, and a drier variety. There were other goodies included in the basket. "I don't think I have told you how lovely you look tonight." Well maybe he had not said it in the last twenty minutes. "That dress is breathtaking. You know how to wear those clothes so well."

Hearing the compliments from Ambrose never got old, and they made her smile every time. Buffy swore she could be wearing a potato sack, and he'd be able to make her feel like royalty. There were things about the fancy clothing that she was starting to grow accustomed to beyond the fact that they just made her feel pretty. Though heels had been obnoxiously uncomfortable at first, she was more than happy with the couple of inches they added to her somewhat lacking height.

"You've said so a few times, but keep it up," she teased with a smile. "You get points every time you mention it. Bonus ones if you work it into conversation." He always looked remarkable in public himself. "I remember you said you like red, so I was hoping I did alright for my first try and picking this kind of thing out."

"And what would all these bonus points do for me?" he asked, smiling, placing the basket with the other things on the small table. "Yes red is on of my colors. Clique as it is for a vampire to like red." He said, taking her hand and moving farther into the entryway. "Very much. I do have to admit that I know you would have done well, but I was sadden to not be picking out your outfit like Thursday." He said, remember the beautiful dress.

"Maybe I will let you pick out other outfits if I get to have you on my arm all night long." Yes he had worked that into the conversations. Bonus points for him. "I should get you your own card so you can go wild with the clothes."

"The bonus points can be cashed in at different points during the night and in a variety of different ways," Buffy assured him. "Some of them not appropriate for polite conversation." He'd picked a lovely dress for the night of Dr. Lecter's dinner party as usual, and she loved his choice in clothing.

"I love when you pick stuff out for me too. I always feel like a real girl," she said, keeping her hold on his arm as they walked. "Extra points there, by the way. I don't always need to pick things out either, I just sometimes like to surprise you too. You should see what I'm wearing underneath this, for example." It was perhaps a cruel trick to play in the middle of a party, but Buffy hadn't been able to help herself.
