Piper chuckled as she watched Lucien walk away and stroked Emerson's arm in comfort. She knew he was trying and sure it was hurting a part of his slacker soul. The brunette returned the once over with her own smirk and nodded, "Mm," gesturing to his attire, "this is helping too if I didn't make that clear." It was crazy how light and high spirited she felt, like none of her troubles were that bad at this moment anyway. The high was too good to give up so she was going with it and that's what probably made her reach up on her tip toes to press a lingering kiss to his lips.
At first she smiled and was replaced with horror as it slowly dropped from her face, looking around at where they were, "Oh God. I'm...sorry." They hadn't exactly discussed any PDA or anything really, the more she thought about it. It wouldn't bother her so much if it wasn't inevitable to make a complete ass of her in situations like this.
