Dobson House Warming Party!
Who: Everyone
Where: Dobson manor
When:Week 4, Saturday, evening
Why: Housewarming party at Dobson manor.
Warning: Social party and getting to know each other, but no other warnings yet.

Tabitha took a deep breath as looked at herself in the mirror. In only a few minutes, her first party here at Beacon hills would begin. She'd spent the better part of the week ensuring the whole manor be washed and decorated properly in reds and gold.

All sorts of foods prepared and laid out beautifully beside an open bar filled with various alcohol and even some blood bags for the visiting vampires. Tabtiha made sure there was no expense forgone, no extravagance missed. This was going to be a party that was not quickly forgotten, she wanted to be sure of it.

Smoothing her hands over her cream colored dress one more time nervously, she stepped out of her room and down the grand staircase to greet her guests.

Yeah cause I'm totally gonna marry some posh dick from some powerful and wealthy family that I don't even like. Besides, I prefer chicks to dicks" Roxy laughed, her Father had been full of shit like that and of 'duty'. As far as Roxanne was concerned, the only duty she had was to herself.

"There's quite a lot, most aren't all that public about it. Some are only semi-serious. It happens though, pretty sure Damon has some going on, same with Jack probably more but I can't be bothered to keep track"

She looked embarassed at Roxy's words. Tabitha didnt even think about it like that. "I.. I never meant to pick some dick." Glancing down at her hands, she gave a small shrug. "I dont know. I like both equally." She'd always thought that she'd end up with a husband someday though. It was what her grandmother wanted for her.

"Really?" She'd have to look at those two she spoke of and see if it was really true. "I always thought it was against the rules of owning a slave..."

Your grandma's era is dead and gone, this is our time and I ain't wasting it listening to coffin dodgers" Roxy didn't mean what she said to upset Tabitha in anyway, it just pissed her off that she could have turned out like Tabs if she hadn't rebelled against her Father. Girl had to grow a backbone and stand on her own two feet whether she liked it or not.

"There are no rules to owning a slave... you can do what you like with them, tis the entire point of them. I ain't saying everyone thinks it's right to romantically love y'r slave but folks do it anyway so deal" It had been a while since Roxy had last talked like this, like Raven - the rebel child that did drugs, generally broke the rules and the law and did and said as she damned well pleased. But then Raven had been born by her Father being an overbearing asshole which was what was happening to Tabitha now and Raven was standing for it.

Tabitha hadnt expected her friend's reaction towards her. Really, she didnt think the whole topic was that bad. She wanted to fall in love and find someone to be with. It wasnt like she was letting her grandmother decide for her...

Glancing down, Tabi bit her bottom lip slightly, worrying it as she thought of what to say. "I'm sorry if I've offended you. I didn't mean to insult you in any way. I honestly thought it was against the rules to be romantically involved with your slave, and I do what I want at times, but I dont see what is wrong with what I am doing now either."

	Roxanne paused and collected herself, it wasn't fair on her friend for her to have reacted like that. It wasn't like she knew what living with her Father had been like, although no doubt she had heard of the dick. Tabs was kinda naive really and that wasn't her fault. Tabi shook her head and offered Roxanne a small smile. "There is not need to apologize. I had not mean to bring back bad memories. " She took a sip of her drink, trying to think of how to appease her friend without making the problem worse.

"I dont really know much of what is normal for slaves or not. My grandmother hasnt let me own one yet... She worries for me."

"You weren't to know" Roxanne shrugged, she had noticed that her hand was shaking slightly, the movement noticeable from the movement of the alcohol in the glass she was holding. She put it down casually, hoping her friend had not noticed.

Roxy didn't want her friend to think she was pissed at her, which she wasn't or at least the hand shaking wasn't because of that. Raven was rising in her subconscious and seriously needed her fix. The witch had no intention of letting Tabs know she was using or even worse end up getting her hooked on the stuff like she had been.

"It's not like it's all that difficult, you just order them around, if they don't do it you punish them. Oh and you get to screw around with them as much as you like. When you get one, get a trained one else you'll be screwed and not in the fun way"

Tabitha frowned as she watched her friend. It was obvious that she was upset and Tabitha honestly felt bad to have brought up such a sore memory for the other woman.

Trying to get away from the topic and calm the other girl down, she smiled a little. "A trained one? I've been hoping to get one soon. Maybe we should go looking together. That way you can ensure I dont end up saddled with someone too wild."

"Sure, I might get one myself. Been meaning to for a while and haven't gotten round to it" Roxanne said as she resisted the urge to light up, maybe she could get her friend into the garden so she could have one and pretend it was a cigarette.

"You'd need one of the ones that's trained but not overly needy, I doubt you get all that dominant - you're too nice" Roxanne walked across the room, expecting her friend to follow as she moved to look out of the window.

"Hey! I could be dominant if I wanted to." She tried to protest, but honestly Roxy was probably right. She wasnt too aggressive and really didnt need a slave that wanted that... did they want stuff like that?

Tabi followed her friend after a moment and glanced out the window as well. "Did you want to see the rest of the grounds? It is getting a bit warm in here..."

"Like hell you could, sister" Roxanne smirked at Tabitha's reflection in the glass. At her friend's unwitting enabling of her habit, she looked over her shoulder and grinned at her.

"Sure thing, lead the way" she shrugged. She doubted Tabi knew shit about drugs, certainly not what they smelt or looked like. She could probably get away with lighting up, she doubted her friend smoked.

Roxanne followed her friend, the garden was pretty damn impressive to be fair. It certainly wasn't the type of place she'd usually light up in but she was gasping for it right now and so pulled out a joint she'd rolled earlier. She always had a few pre-rolled ones on her, just in case.

"You smoke?" Roxy asked Tabi casually as she flicked her lighter and put the flame to the tip of the joint. She inhaled deeply, holding it in for a few seconds before blowing it out as a circle of smoke. Bliss

	It took an effot for Tabi not to scrunch her nose up at the cigarette. "No, thank you. I dont much like the smell of it." "Well I'm glad you've slowed on it. Smoking can be quite bad for you." She stopped herself from lecturing the other girl more though. She knew that Roxy probably wouldnt appreciate it.

"Oh! It's a mixture of both. Some of the plants we use for spells have to be tended by hand, but many of the roses are treated with magic. It was one of the first spells I learned as a child."

Stuff like that" Roxy shrugged with a grin as she took another long drag, turned out getting high made it easier for her to share stuff. Not that she cared.
