Piper was excited to be going out and about again under different circumstances. DeWitt would discover she didn't intend to leave his side unless he demanded it of her and was happy to think of it as some kind of date night. She was definitely floored when she saw him looking all put together and dapper and realized that Gretchen had them matching pretty well, classy casual. The brunette kept stealing looks at his attire and how well it fit him and displayed his best assets. She made a mental note to thank the crazy old woman for such a lovely gift.
Her hair was definitely the best part and had worked with her so well to look perfectly messy. Piper was taking in the grandeur of the house when she heard Emerson's tone go serious. Her brows raised in surprise as a small smile crept across her lips so when Lucien rolled his eyes and went on his own way, she leant into him and said low enough for only him to hear, "Careful, sir. You're playing on a girl's weaknesses and you'll find your nice suit all messed up before dinner if you aren't careful."
