Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Who: Gwen Cooper, Open to Jack Harkness, Martha Jones and 10th Doctor
When: During the explosion
Why: She is getting sick and then some(post thread with Sam Winchester)
Status: Incomplete
Rating: TBD

As Gwen followed Sam into the post explosion madness she fell back onto her training as a cop and her pre Torchwood life. She lent a hand the best she could between sneezing and coughing fits along with 2 waves of nauesa. But anyone could see she was getting sicker by the second, only a really bad cold but it made the younger woman look as miserable as she felt. The whole time she was moving debris to free people she was watching for anyone she knew: from Jack and Martha to the Doctor she had only heard about.

As she helped another wave hit and this one almost knocked her flat. In spite of the hoodie she was shivering and trying not to let anyone see her shake. Part of her wanted to pass out but the cop in her kept fighting the wave to keep helping somehow.

Who: Dawn (hopefully Buffy and/or Faith, maybe Murphy later?)
What: Explosion aftermath - Dawn gets hurt.

Maybe Dawn was just trying to be incredibly forward, but she'd decided that once, this once, she'd be the one that went to visit Murphy for a change, instead of waiting for him to show up with a gown and plans for dinner again.

She grinned as she reached the second floor and made her way down the hall, only having the barest second for the tell-tale BOOM sound to reach her ears and she looked up as rubble fell, hitting her on the head before she could stop it magically or otherwise.

Everything went dark.

Who: Faith and her rescuers (Buffy and Peter most likely)
When: Explosion of course.
(NB- Spin off from Layla's thread Here: another copy of Faith's last comment there, moved to here to keep things nicely separate!)

Faith breathed a sigh of relief as Lucas got out of the room ok, rushing off to find Plant Girl and Ghosty Chick.

She began to move herself when there was a groan, the tree (however it had got there) clearly dying. The strain of trying to hold things up was obviously taking it's toll and the entire structure groaned.

"Oh this is not good," she muttered to herself, gingerly stepping towards the door. Suddenly it all collapsed, the tree, the ceiling and the floor. Faith went crashing through, down to the next level, barely having time to think a pained 'oh shit' before hitting her head hard and blacking out.

Sarah was in the library, working on lettering another sign for signups for the play, this one a bit bigger than the previous one, and in colors.

She was startled by the crash, looking up towards the lobby, rather like a deer caught in the headlights, and that was when the shockwave hit, she yelped, throwing her arms up over her head to keep from getting too badly battered by the books falling from the shelves.

Remy was out and about on a walk around the hotel, as he was prone to doing these days, too damn cold outside for a bayou boy, and nothing much to hold his interest inside, at least, not for long.

Previously he'd alleviated this boredom with a game of shuffleboard/ninepins that he'd made up himself.
That particular morning he was setting the game up again in one of the far and away upstairs corridors, out of the way of the usual foot-traffic, when something rumbled beneath him.

Being the firebug, and, after all, explosion-bug that he was, he arched a brow, "T'at's interestin'." And it was interesting enough to bear further investigation.

Of course, when he saw the actual destruction he swore, quite creatively, in Creole, French, and oddly enough, Hindi.
