Fondest greetings, one and all.

Please do be not alarmed by the boxes left on your coffee tables before your waking. They are advent calendars intended as small gifts for your kindness since my arrival. While I understand that not everyone may celebrate the upcoming holidays, I would hope everyone will enjoy them in the spirit in which they were meant.

In addition, please forgive the liberties taken in seeing to their delivery. I can assure you, your trust and security are paramount to me, and I shall endeavor not to abuse either in the future.

	My classmates thought it would be a laugh to steal me from my bed, take me down to the basement, and use me in as a human sacrifice in a ritual they had no business entertaining, let alone undertaking. I wasn't able to celebrate the holidays with Crystal before being whisked away here~~, and Niko had already been taken from us~~, but Charles and I would decorate the office and play any number of Christmas and holiday records. I also did my best to send cards to all my contacts, which was an event in and of itself.

Have you been able to export any of your homeward traditions and enact them here?

	Oh man, that's dedication. Any favorite albums? We didn't really have any? My mom was the big Christmas tradition one so it kind of all stopped there. My dad was working a lot of the time, so we did dinner or lunch or whatever we could make work at my friend Scott's, most years. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

A fair number of them were compilations of various artists, so it's difficult to name only one. My main inclination is for the songs of my day and earlier, but I confess I'm rather fond of "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree".

Ah. I see. Sometimes I wondered if my family still undertook the holiday celebrations after my death, but as it's maudlin thought, I do so only seldomly. I'm happy for your friendship, however; that you had the support of your chosen family to help bolster you.
