It has come to my very unfortunate attention that I will need to find work here and given my specific circumstances, it cannot be something that would require me to be out in broad daylight.

Brief discussion with another brought forth the idea of piano lessons. I would also be willing to offer my talents as an actor, musician, artist, and native French speaker. Is there anyone who would wish to take me up on those or suggest where I may be able to?

Intriguing. I did have an iPad at home, one of the few newer technologies in my possession. It was what I used for music.

I will keep this in mind and see what I am able to do with it.

There is also customer service work that can be done remotely. But I'm not sure that would be any sort of interesting and only headache-inducing.

I do not know that my temperament is designed for that sort of work.

Admittedly, I laughed to myself when I suggested it. Most people don't have the temperament; you have to have a high skill in diplomacy, I've found. And a desire to not put someone in their place.
