Rose lost Lissa in that. She's had a rough time. They are best friends, nearly sisters, with an actual bond. I'm not sure how this will affect her and I know you two are friendly as well. Would you mind keeping an eye out?

Honestly, this is why Guardians don't get attached.

Back home is even more complicated. It is difficult knowing things that happen in our future. What we supposedly go back to.

Because of my feelings for her, I fear that my instinct will be to protect Rose instead of my charge if forced to make that choice. And we're taught from day one of Guardian training that the Moroi, especially the royal Moroi, come first. Always.
