camp fortitude in character

Hey. I'm Sara Lance. Been here a few months.

We've had a lot of new folks express interest in helping with the defense of this place. Which is good, because the more people we have here, the more important it is that we don't allow monsters to breach our walls.

That being said, we need to make sure you are actually capable of defeating said monsters if they attack the camp. So I'd like to know about your experience and we're going to set up a training regiment to make sure we're all on the same page.

And those of you who have no fighting experience? We're going to set up some basic self defense lessons for you. This is not a happy, sunshiney place and everyone needs to be prepared for whatever might come at us.

So I know I'm the kid among the group—totally eyeballing you Natasha :p—but I can't be the only one a little worried by the rate our camp is growing...

Especially since the two that arrived today are teenagers... at least they look a bit like teenagers... either way, they are young... apparently survived in a place a lot worse than this, so that's good. But we're going to have to double our supply runs if the food and supplies aren't going to run out...

Also, I have a boyfriend. :D Wanted you guys to be the first to hear.

Update: I spoke too soon... there's three from that place now... Arkadia. I forgot Finn's from there. It's apparently popular place... Murphy did say that they were in space and then displaced back to earth to see if it was livable... because they were expendable criminals... well, he said Raven wasn't but... maybe that's why three came from there... I really hope their whole group doesn't all arrive today... I don't know their exact numbers... but our camp will definitely not survive...

Benji told me to say hi on the network. So this is me saying hi on the network. I'm Jesse. I got brought into camp yesterday. Not sure how long I was out there on my own. My hands are swollen from the cold so I'm going to keep this short, but wanted to say hi.

I finally got Jesse settled in. I made sure he was fed, showered, his wounds were cleaned and bandaged, and that he wasn't freezing in his bed. Took a few of the extra blankets from the closet in the hall. I probably won't sleep tonight so do you think I can be excused from my duties tomorrow... I just want to make sure he's okay...

Thanks for letting him move in with us. Thanks for helping get him taken care of. I just... I hope it's not too little too late. I know I can't blame myself but I don't know how long he was out there and if something happens to him... I...

But nothing's going to happen. He's going to be fine. Everything's going to be fine.

To the new comers, I'm Benji. I like to call myself Caroline's Personal Assistant, but really I just run around camp with my handy clipboard and get people things they need. I also do it while singing, because I'm super skilled like that. Well, and it's not really that hard to sing and do stuff. Except Math. Can't do math while singing. It's impossible.

Anyway, my point of this network post is to say though the circumstances really suck, welcome to our camp, and if there's anything we can do let me know and I'll get it to the right people. Or Caroline will, if I can't.

Right so. A little about me. I'm 19. Was training with the FBI when some crazy stuff went down back home, so of course I left DC, went back to help out my pack peeps. And now...I'm here.

This is definitely one of the strangest things to happen to me. But not the strangest. Best friend getting bit and turned into a werewolf. Girl crush getting bit and turned into a Banshee. Betting possessed by a Nogitsune. Werecoyote for a girlfriend...Nothing will top that level of weirdness.

But yeah. Hi. I'm trying really really hard to not freak out.

Honestly could it either snow enough to actually do things with it? Like snowmen and snowball fights? Or just don't do it at all. This in between is dumb.
