This is the Blue Horsehead Nebula in infared light.

[Sif, Valkyrie]
I was able to pick up my Asgardian dress and bring it to New York. Do either of you want it?

[Thor]
I picked up my dress from Asgard when I got my lab equipment. I've offered it to Sif and Valkyrie but if they're not interested, do you want it? Hang onto it for when you're reunited with your people and give someone a piece of home?

Surrounded by wormholes? How many? From where?

At least fourteen major wormholes, and several much smaller portals. The largest being the magnetar wormhole known as the anus, which connected nearest to Asgard. Sakaar was not terribly sophisticated when it came to naming conventions.

Unfortunately, I do not know where the others connected to. I do know that time seemed to move differently on the planet's surface. I was there for weeks longer than Thor was, and it seemed we were both cast out of the Bifrost within seconds of one another. Oh, and that the ruler of Sakaar was millions of years old by our known standards of time.

Interesting. We know that time behaves differently around certain cosmic events - black holes are famous for this. It's possible that so many bridges in a single area has an effect on space time. I'd need to make observations myself to be sure. Where was this in space?

A very scholarly assessment. So it is a bending of time, as a lingering aftereffect from the great distances bypassed by a confluence of wormholes into one focused location. Yes?

Sakaar is within the Tayo star system, a dwarf galaxy within the constellation your world would know as Fornax.

Yes, actually. That's pretty much it.

Fornax is pretty close to us. And it's a galaxy cluster. With that many folded bits of space time the gravitational effect must be enormous. No wonder the galaxies cluster together. I'd like to see that. What was the gravity on the planet?

I see. If it is that close then it would explain, perhaps, how the beast my brother is friends with was able to find his way there. Through such a portal or wormhole, no doubt.

It did seem to have quite a lot of flotsam and jetsam landing upon the surface, from throughout the universe? So the pull of the various wormholes was significant. As for the gravity on the planet's surface, it seemed comparable to the density of Asgard. Surprisingly, not at all different.

Sixty million light years in close in galactic distance but far on human scale. The bridge opening would have to be close if someone found their way there. I wonder if I can find the entrance. Who was it? From Earth or Asgard?

And Asgard is similar to Earth's but I always thought that was Nine Realms thing. Habitable planets are all formed from the same elements. It's not unreasonable they could be a similar size and have similar gravity. I'd still want to see the way the portals affect the environment.

From what I understand, the beast known as The Hulk managed it. If it could do so, then I've little doubt it was stumbled onto at a close proximity from Earth. If you could but find this opening, then there is a way to get back to the ruins of Asgard at the very least. Or, with a ship capable of weathering such travel, to other galaxies entirely.

The gravity was similar to Earth, definitely. So there may be some truth to the Nine Realms being linked by that common gravitational thread. Asgard itself was a realm of super-dense and highly durable particles, which no doubt had an overall impact over time on Asgardian physiology.

You were a vessel of The Aether at the time of your visit and since Asgard is no more, there's no way to tell if you would notice any changes in your current form or not. We did not often entertain Midgardian guests.

Stop talking about Dr. Banner that way. He's a friend of a friend of mine and a person.

Svartlheim wasn't so different but I'm in no rush to go back there.

And I remember. Your dad called me a goat.

Indeed, you are right about Svartalfheim's gravity. It is a pity it was left in ruins after the last war with the Dark Elves. It is still a much different planetary body than Asgard was, to be certain. Seeing as how it was round and spun on an axis.

As for your friend, there is a vast difference between Bruce and the beast he becomes. Just as there is a vast difference between you and a goat.

Truth be told? The Allfather saying that doesn't surprise me, given some of his longstanding views of those from other realms. I've heard worse. "Your birthright was to die as a child, cast out on a frozen rock," is a personal favorite of mine.

If Odin was irritable or was monitoring other threats to the realms - with yours truly once included - then he was never one for niceties. That was mother's domain. She had far more patience and grace.

Thank you. The Queen had a kind heart and was remarkably insightful. She knew you were of import and so sought to protect you, as she always sought to protect all those she cared about.

She wasn't just trying to protect me. Keeping the Aether away from Malekith helped protect everyone. She was very brave.

Yes, of course. There's no doubt it was a factor in how things played out, as well.
