I believe Quill was doing his best to instruct you about the ways of love, but you'd have to check with the fox to be sure, as I wasn't present for most of it.

I have some concept of In Love. In a way, it includes all those things.

You might feel... captive by the relationship and want to be free until you realize you are free because of the relationship.

You may argue or disagree, but it isn't about winning or losing. It is about compromise or accepting that the other person is right this time and vice-versa.

You may cause pain to your partner, usually mentally, not physically, by something you say or do and they may do the same to you, but it is less likely to occur if you communicate and accept that neither one of you is perfect.

I can't believe I just said all that.
