Ab Aeterno RPG

I've never been more keenly aware of how not American I am until today. I forgot myself and swore under my breath in my native tongue because I stubbed my toe, and in an instant I was surrounded by people discussing the Cold War and saying some frightening things about 'the Russians'.

Thankfully, nobody said or did anything to me specifically, but it served as a reminder that even I need to watch myself here.

So we heard at the store that some 'vandals' are painting red handprints. There are a lot of rumors, but nothing definitive yet. As soon as I hear more, I'll let know you, but prepare for a mission.

Well, that turned out better than I thought. A car broke down down the street, and without thinking I went to see if the driver was alright. Turns out it was a problem with his transmission, which is common in the Pontiac Chieftain.

He was so impressed that I diagnosed what was wrong with his car, that he asked if I wanted a job at his auto shop. I said I had to ask my husband. So... yeah.

Good Afternoon.

We have some bad news. The bus will need to land in an area where we can make the necessary modifications. Also we have spotted another temporal anomaly, so we can drop you off before being on our way. This means that bus will be working when you return.

We've been a little slower than normal to pick up the anomaly and that has given the time to learn a little more. There's a general store in Pleasantville that has been shut down and then turned into some kind of night club. Your job will be to buy the general store and maintain the type of lifestyle that exist in Pleasantville.

Anyone up for a security sweep to make sure everything is still safe, and there's nothing we missed? I'd like to get some patrols going.

Has anyone checked in with the Gorgonas and the Medusas about their thoughts on the volcano? I was thinking about making a trip to Chrysaor, but I'm not entirely sure I want to be that far under the sea with no way of getting back until the evening shuttle.

Thoughts?

My knowledge of volcanoes is limited to a baking soda and vinegar experiment that I had to do for a science class when my life was normal I was a kid.

Does anyone know more? Should we be worried about the one that the conductor mentioned?

Hey Everyone,

I know this last world was a tough one and we had to face some difficult things. If anyone wants to talk, you know where to find me. Also I think we all deserve a few days of rest, but starting Monday, we're back to training. Since we have new people again, we'll do new sign ups (you can comment here if you like) and new pairings. We've seen that it's probably the easiest way for us to go since we need contingencies in which we can move fast.

What:Hijacking the holodeck shenanigans (New York Hogwarts) Theo and Loki are not present however can be heard overhead on the speakers. In fact they botched that, and can be hear in various spots all over the bus. They don't know that though....Your characters can hear them overhead or not if they like. They however cannot enter the holodeck.

Hello ladies, I told Abigail that I would put you two in contact. Natasha, I think Abigail might just need some help both in self defense and in learning how to read people and I can't imagine anyone better than you for the job.

Unless there are any objections, the Avengers will be use the holodeck from 9 to 11 am daily for training. I understand that time is fluid in space, so we'll be using the time in the bus' computers regardless of what time is in any given planet we pass by.

Hey, there's a new room on the bus. It's some holodeck with holograms so real that we can use it to train. They have scenarios we know like Loki's attack in New York, but also Ultron and Thanos. It would be a good way to hone our skills. I was thinking the three of us and Bucky. I was also consider Peter. He's superfast, does this for a job at home, good head on his shoulder. What do you think? I'll wait for you before I ask him.

What: A party goes wrong

- The party is held to celebrate the return of Constance Hatchaway after the death of her forty-first human husband. It seems that Constance doesn't just get money from them, but also their life force. She doesn't look a day older than twenty-five!
- There are drinks, dancing and children. Much like the hunt, everyone is invited
- At around 9:30pm, there is a loud noise and the earth shakes. Anyone who's experienced bombs would assume that's what happened, but it could also give the impression of an earthquake for those who are familiar with that.
- Children are rounded up and kept at City Hall
- Guests seem to divide without much discussion. About a quarter stay at City Hall, another quarter starts patrolling both towns. Half of them go toward the woods and spread out.
- They will learn that it's humans attacking the magical barrier. Any magical being that wants to help (if they can) reinforce the barrier can do so. They will also learn that these attacks are becoming more common.
