Greetings. My name is Thurvishar D'Lorus. After performing a perfunctory sweep of names on your compiled list I am confident in saying that there is no one here from my world, but if I'm incorrect, I beg your forgiveness. I'm loathe to sum up myself but in short: I am a wizard, and High Lord to the Noble House of Binders - paper, histories, archives, mapmaking, records, you get the idea. In my spare time, I work as the advisor to Empress Tyentso (long may she reign) and get dragged into near-death political deathtraps by my friends whose enthusiasm for life often outpaces their capacity for common sense. This isn't my first alternate dimension, nor will it likely be my last, but I do have three questions here that I would greatly appreciate a response:

I wonder if there has been any study of how time moves in comparison to that of the homeworlds? This notion concerns me greatly, as we are on a-- we'll call it abbreviated -- schedule back home before, in short, total devastation and unending apocalypse strikes, and I would really very much like to avoid all of that, and:
Has anyone else had their magical abilities dampened? I am missing a power that was second nature back home, and it seems to be much weakened here, and finally:
I could use the spiciest curry on saag that Vallo could provide me with. Please, I implore you: blow my head off.

I have to maintain some kind of plausible deniability. The fewer details, the better. I will let the possibility of it warm my heart.

Oh, musical talent. If your friend shows up here, there's a bunch of places that he can play his harp at. I'd say the market, but you'd have to catch the owner on a really good day for him to let that fly and not ban you for life. But I can safely confirm you will not have to wait until Yor ~~???~~ to have ice cream now.

Okay, I'll bite. What is Yor?

Don't encourage him; Kihrin loves nothing more than being put on display so he can strum his harp and look pretty. He's likely to arrive just because you've said as much. And -- I'd been on the road before this, so I apologize for making a reference without explanation (I'm very tired). Yor's in the North of the empire and extremely cold. They've obsessions with dubious fish dishes and bitter tea, but their ice cream is wonderful. It'll be a treat to have it someplace where I'm not so cold I want to die.

I am a very encouragable sort. However, in the interest of fairness, you were here first so you get dibs to put down rules and boundaries so I promise not to tell your friend he should play the harp at every opportunity.

You shouldn't knock the bitter tea, sometimes it has healing properties if you can stomach it. But I'm with you on the fish. Luckily for you, Vallo's seasons are not so cold you want to die so you can enjoy ice cream at any temperature.

As mentioned before about the group of boys I live with, most of them are also insomniacs. So allow me to say this once, and then never again: You should probably sleep if you're tired.

I'm glad that you mentioned the range of seasons - I was wondering what exactly I had gotten myself into. You're on the tail end of summer right now. We're about to hit fall, which I think is the best season, but you can have your own differentiating opinions (just know they are wrong if it's not fall.)

And correct. You definitely hit a few hot-button topics to get them to pop up. Gansey (the one who mentioned psychics, my mom and my aunt) and Henry (spicy noodle Angy Tofu recommendations) are mine. Gansey is the reason I was asking about your Binders, it's definitely his vibe.

Why be wrong when you can be right? After all, fall is the only season that allows me to gorge myself on squash and be considered on trend.

Ah, understood. Well, while I'm at present too busy to tear about House structure from the inside due to the pending apocalypse, when Tysentso and I get around to that, I will gladly extend an invitation to scholars of all calibre and bloodline, creepy black eyes or no.
