It seems this world is far more accepting of the strange than what I am used to, and yet on the streets of New York, people still call each other names, still exhibit fear and bigotry. It is the same in Quebec, Paris, London, Moscow, and Giza.
Mankind is, as ever, a strange mix of joy and fear.
And I am in wonder at it always. |
