Our friend in the dungeon seems to find the accommodations and room service much to his liking since he's been slow to tell us anything we don't already know as of yet.

I've also been passed a list of locations we need to look into as it seems the Blue Velvet was not the only place in danger of going down in the manner it did. We'll need to look into them as the place they were holding the ghoul James was most certainly not it.

I know my childe blames Julian for James being taken, but had he not been to meet with him and give us a timely headstart on finding him, we may not have found him alive in time. I'll try to keep her from actually trying to skin him. The extra manpower you gave us in the search was appreciated as well.

The hunters took the whole evil/cleansing thing a bit far. The eyelids that were sewn shut on the ghoul had the eyes removed as well. The tongue was cut out. The drums of the ears busted.

See no evil. Speak no evil. Hear no evil.

In short, it meant I could not get anything off the body that would help us figure out where the ghoul has been or what they wanted with him other than the end result that was left for us to find.

I wasn't able to get anything useful off the ghoul.

That is two ghouls now but other than the bodies there have been no other clear signs of St. Leopold's to be found back in the city. It makes me reluctant to put it out there just yet publically but it's a decision better left up to the council to decide.

I know that we've been able to find little ourselves from the remains of the Blue Velvet to suggest what, or rather who, is responsible for the fire. However, I think we can all agree to the fact of kine authorities after a lengthy investigation ruling it out as just a gas leak is bullshit.

Has anyone been able to come up with anything else?

And any word on our missing ghoul? This one seems to be taking longer to turn up.

There's a package with a couple of things in it on the kitchen counter.

We have a report of another missing ghoul. Considering how the last one was found we should likely look into this one. Before this one ends up chopped into little bits as well. Skip the cleanup and all that.

Mab, my dear, I know you are rather fond of your ghoul so I figured that I'd give you a heads up to keep an eye on him.

Julian was able to piece together Maya's memories so that we now have a more clear picture of what happened. We also know now just who has been behind this the whole time and why. Or clear of motive as we can get from Maya's side of the memories.

Dorian Valatieri. He's a Ventrue and a player from Chicago looking to make himself Primogen. A spot that he just happened to make for himself here after Maya asked for help after a vision that she saw. And well, we know how well that ended up for her.

So pissed off Dorian lately? Give him reason to decide becoming Primogen here in New York would be a good idea? Or am I just lucky that a rival of yours decided to start killing and breaking Primogen here instead of in Chicago where he belongs?
