Has anyone noticed anything [...] odd going on with the Anarchs lately? I mean, other than the fact that the Camarilla just lost all its leaders and they're not currently trying to take over. Yet anyway.

My fellow Kindred,

It is with my deepest and sincerest regrets that I not only announce this to you but am also the only one left to do so.

The explosion on Ballard Tower last night took the lives of many Kindred, chief among them Prince Carlyle. Also lost in the explosion was the whole of the Primogen council, Sheriff Lazarus, Justicar Stuart, and our fellow visiting Kindred from the courts of Chicago and Boston.

These losses are shocking and are ones that will be felt by all. Now more than ever we need to be careful as we go forward in the coming days.

It has come to our attention that the hunters that are plaguing the city may also be going after our human servants. We urge you to keep an eye on their comings and goings more closely as we work to extinguish for good the problem of any lingering Witch-Hunters of St Leopold that may be embedded in the city.

Hounds
Our friend in the dungeon seems to find the accommodations and room service much to his liking since he's been slow to tell us anything we don't already know as of yet.

I've also been passed a list of locations we need to look into as it seems the Blue Velvet was not the only place in danger of going down in the manner it did. We'll need to look into them as the place they were holding the ghoul James was most certainly not it.

Micah
I know my childe blames Julian for James being taken, but had he not been to meet with him and give us a timely headstart on finding him, we may not have found him alive in time. I'll try to keep her from actually trying to skin him. The extra manpower you gave us in the search was appreciated as well.

Midtown Manhattan
Say 'Hello' to your new Elysium. Abandoned in the 1980's, this stone cathedral with its original stained glass has been repurposed for our use. Januarius Cathedral is located in Midtown Manhattan and offers an utterly extensive repertoire of music from DJ to live performances on Friday and Saturday with a space for dancing and mingling in the amber-lit dark, dazzled by the crystal chandeliers. We also have a small gallery section for up-and-coming artists. The main level will be open to kine and Kindred alike with an extremely well-stocked bar. For us, you have the catacombs below - be kind to the original residents. An out-of-the-way staircase takes you down below where a blood bar resides, along with lovely blood dolls willing and waiting. There is also a hidden entrance for our more... Noticeable friends.

By the grace and word of his majesty Prince Lucian Carlyle,

It is with much regret that we report the loss of life that happened last night at the Clan Toreador Halloween party. We do not know how the hunters managed to find out about the party or even got in but the matter is being looked into.

His Majesty would like to extend his gratitude to those who helped to put the hunters down before we experienced too much loss of life. Things could have gone a lot worse if our fellow Kindred had not worked as quickly as they did. As well as his gratitude to the Sheriff and his Hounds that helped to keep our streets safe.

In light of these events, it has become apparent that we are in need of getting a new Elysium set up and well as placing a new Keeper. Be assured that the matter is being worked on and we hope to be able to announce a new Elysium soon.

In the meantime, the Prince and Sheriff both urge you to be careful should you need to go out on the streets alone.

The hunters took the whole evil/cleansing thing a bit far. The eyelids that were sewn shut on the ghoul had the eyes removed as well. The tongue was cut out. The drums of the ears busted.

See no evil. Speak no evil. Hear no evil.

In short, it meant I could not get anything off the body that would help us figure out where the ghoul has been or what they wanted with him other than the end result that was left for us to find.

I wasn't able to get anything useful off the ghoul.

That is two ghouls now but other than the bodies there have been no other clear signs of St. Leopold's to be found back in the city. It makes me reluctant to put it out there just yet publically but it's a decision better left up to the council to decide.

Oh good. I was so worried that the annual Toreador Halloween orgy party would be cancelled in light of recent events or that my invitation would not get here in time for me to decide on what I'd wear. Silly me. I should have had more faith in Marcy's ability to multitask and still make sure things get done in a timely manner.
