Author's Notes: For some reason, I the more I wrote, the more backstory I got for this pairing; quite a bit of it didn't make it into this fic. Somehow, these two just seemed to fit and their universes blended pretty easily. I actually had this written days in advance of the deadline and somehow still failed to post it on time. Go figure.
( Yoruichi's face had neither her serene mask or her manic grin, and that more than anything told Will there was something seriously wrong. )
