Hey guys, it's about the middle of the month, and so far, September's looking a lot like August. Have no fear, Ash and I are gearing up some event fun to come later on, but we want all of you involved in playing too! So, here's a little way to get the plots flowing, hopefully! All you have to do is fill it out with copy and pasting, and talk with each other! You are all very strongly encouraged to participate. That's one step down from "mandatory."

Possible Plot Traits: Things about your character that may trigger responses/plots from others.

Also, over the past few months, you've gotten to know your mods, but now we get to start learning about our fellow players with a Player of the Month (and this is purely voluntary to participate--but if we could get a volunteer for October, please let us know!), and this month it's Angie!

Name: Angie C because only people at work and my mother should call me Angela
Date of Birth: 11-30-78
Relationship Status: Single
Kids/Pets: I have 2 cats, a mismatched brother and sister duo named Lennon and Serendipity. Do roomies count? I have two of those, too.
Hometown: Pennsylvania
Day Job: Customer care rep for Hartford AARP Insurance.
Dream Job: Magical fairy princess karate master... But barring that, I would be a writer.

Mythological Background: My memory is a bit foggy but I'm pretty sure I discovered Greek mythology in about third grade and promptly became obsessed. I distinctly remember the location of the mythology books in the children's section - just one shelf over from my other obsession, fairy tales. I graduated to Egyptian and Roman and meandered my way through other pantheons over time. In fact, my first ever text-based RP was an interesting mash-up of the Magical Girl genre in anime and various world mythologies... And aliens. Because. Just aliens.

RP Background: I've been text-RPing since 2000 and have either modded or co-modded three games over that time. I have assisted in designing/building many more. I have more voices in my head than is strictly good for a person. I dabbled in tabletop back in high school, mostly the Hero system and DND, but found it nearly impossible to find another group that would let an icky girl in once I was away from school. Right now, I'm in... a lot of games. Mostly because this is my crack, people. It keeps me off the streets, running amok, and starting snap-dance fights. It's peer pressure, I tell you.

Fun Facts: I spent my junior year of college over in England, stationed at the University of Essex. Which happens to be in Colchester, the oldest recorded town in England and the place where Boudicca famously handed the Romans their asses.

I collect hats which is useful since my magical superpower is wearing hats and looking spiffy.

Every 2-3 years, I chop off at least 10 inches of my hair to donate. I've been doing this for about 10 years now.

My favorite authors are Spider Robinson, Terry Pratchett, Emma Bull, and Peter S Beagle (who also happens to be one of the sweetest old dudes around). Poetry goes to Rumi, Hafiz, and Neruda.

I used to dream of playing Rosaline in Shakespeare's As You Like It.

I will soon be a published erotica author under a pen name.

Character Name: Sita
Plot suggestions: Anything anyone wants.
Current Storylines: I didn't write any of this out, but Sita had a not-so-fun time in Fairyland that mainly involved a lot of visions of Rama, someone who she's spent most of this lifetime trying not to think about too much. So she's still angsting about that a little bit while pretending that everything is perfectly fine.
Character issues you wish to explore: Sita's not good at saving herself, so any situations that involve physical danger are always fun. She also has serious issues involving Rama and what it's like to be in love with someone...not really sure where to go with this, but that's her main hangup.
Possible Plot Traits: Working of that last point, it's entirely possible that if a boy approached her in the right way she could lead him on without even meaning to, which could be interesting. She's also pretty easily manipulated if you approach her the right way, but I don't know where to go with that one.

	You know I'm all over Sita and Hanuman spending more time together. He feels protective and fond (and a wee bit uneasy) over her. As for the others, I would love to have more interactions but I'll be darned if I can come up with any reason for Bes, Ares, or Titania to hang out with her. (Reply to this) (Parent)

Okay, finally. Going to try to do this in as few comments as possible because I hate having to clear spam from the mod email box. ANYWAY.

Character Name: Aphrodite
Plot suggestions: Dite's leading the Greeks, so anything that would majorly affect her pantheon is going to affect her. Also, anything with the nextgen Greek kids will probably eventually tie back to her in some fashion.
Current Storylines: Right now, she's working on settling into the role as both queen and mother. She's been working on deciding on appointments for political positions within the pantheon and has approached a few people about them, and will soon be contacting others to make offers. She is especially in need of a leader of her Western army. Also is working on reconnecting with Ares and some of the other Greeks and making connections with Oberon.
Character issues you wish to explore: mostly relationship-based, and also Dite taking on a leadership role, which she hasn't really done before.
Upcoming Storylines: Nothing specific just yet, but she's definitely going to be working her social connections.
Possible Plot Traits: Real intimacy is not something Dite usually offers her friends and lovers, but she is considering having a consort ready to be lined-up if needed.

Character Name: Apollo
Plot suggestions: He's extremely flexible, but probably working on developing relationships with members of the other pantheons.
Current Storylines: He's continuing to make music and enjoying being a new father, and is doing everything he can to be supportive for Erato as she prepares for her upcoming nuptials and the birth of her second child. Dite is making him her official ambassador to the other groups and to the public at large. He's also being affected by the dark dreams, like the other psychically-inclined characters.
Character issues you wish to explore: Apollo loves kids, but he's never really been a properly "hands-on" dad before now. Also, having political responsibilities is something new to him.
Upcoming Storylines: Not much really specific, aside from building CRs and investigating the Weird Stuff happening.
Possible Plot Traits: Apollo is a manwhore. Everyone knows it. Sex will probably be his go-to option for relationship-building. Also, he has some psychic abilities and will be very much Concerned if anyone he cares about seems to be in danger or expresses worry to him.

Character Name: Ariadne
Plot suggestions: She's still developing weapons and way strategy training simulators. The beta is ready for testing, so she'll be looking for volunteers to try it out.
Current Storylines: Mostly, she's been trying to focus on her work, and is likely consulting with Athena and Astarte both on that front. She also seems to be the only one trying to keep some kind of an eye on Dionysus.
Character issues you wish to explore: Ari's been pretty no-nonsense for much of her game existence. Someone who could help her have fun would be appreciated.
Upcoming Storylines: Just running the beta-tests mostly. Maybe keeping tabs on Dio.
Possible Plot Traits: Ari loves a good puzzle challenge, so she'll likely be very interested in helping solve some of the recent mysterious events.

Character Name: Asclepius
Plot suggestions: Probably helping with anyone who gets injured. Also is an expert in the paranormal and occult, and might be willing to consult on the Weird Stuff going on...
Current Storylines: He doesn't have a lot going on, but he is still trying to be a friend (or more than, if she'll have him) to Sigyn. Also there as the de facto OB/GYN for the newest-to-arrive nextgens.
Character issues you wish to explore: So much he could do! Give him a chance to show off his ego or his sweet and romantic side, or as a parent, whatever! He needs things to do.
Upcoming Storylines: Nothing specific planned at the moment, but he and Mab are long overdue for a talk about where his loyalties lie...
Possible Plot Traits: He takes pride in what he does. He is an Apollo child, and that means a certain amount of inherent ego. Be careful in issuing him a challenge.

	Random ideas. For Aphrodite, Phonos might make a decent consort? He's emotionally unattached, but enjoys sex as a physical act, so he'd be kind of perfect as a completely casual thing? xD You know, if she wants to sleep with murder. For Ariadne, Phonos himself is a little bit of a mystery. Mayhaps they could become friends or something, idk. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	I believe Titania owes Phonos a coffee date, y/n? Ares will continue to maintain contact with Phonos if Phonos wants that. Sooner or later, the grumpy soldier will have to leave Montana and NYC is the first spot he'll be hitting so visiting time? (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
