Hey guys, it's about the middle of the month, and so far, September's looking a lot like August. Have no fear, Ash and I are gearing up some event fun to come later on, but we want all of you involved in playing too! So, here's a little way to get the plots flowing, hopefully! All you have to do is fill it out with copy and pasting, and talk with each other! You are all very strongly encouraged to participate. That's one step down from "mandatory."

Character issues you wish to explore: Upcoming Storylines: If you have upcoming storylines that aren’t meant to be a surprise, please list them here, list who’s involved, if it’s open/closed, and anything else you need! Possible Plot Traits: Things about your character that may trigger responses/plots from others.

Also, over the past few months, you've gotten to know your mods, but now we get to start learning about our fellow players with a Player of the Month (and this is purely voluntary to participate--but if we could get a volunteer for October, please let us know!), and this month it's Angie!

Name: Angie C because only people at work and my mother should call me Angela
Date of Birth: 11-30-78
Relationship Status: Single
Kids/Pets: I have 2 cats, a mismatched brother and sister duo named Lennon and Serendipity. Do roomies count? I have two of those, too.
Hometown: Pennsylvania
Day Job: Customer care rep for Hartford AARP Insurance.
Dream Job: Magical fairy princess karate master... But barring that, I would be a writer.

Mythological Background: My memory is a bit foggy but I'm pretty sure I discovered Greek mythology in about third grade and promptly became obsessed. I distinctly remember the location of the mythology books in the children's section - just one shelf over from my other obsession, fairy tales. I graduated to Egyptian and Roman and meandered my way through other pantheons over time. In fact, my first ever text-based RP was an interesting mash-up of the Magical Girl genre in anime and various world mythologies... And aliens. Because. Just aliens.

RP Background: I've been text-RPing since 2000 and have either modded or co-modded three games over that time. I have assisted in designing/building many more. I have more voices in my head than is strictly good for a person. I dabbled in tabletop back in high school, mostly the Hero system and DND, but found it nearly impossible to find another group that would let an icky girl in once I was away from school. Right now, I'm in... a lot of games. Mostly because this is my crack, people. It keeps me off the streets, running amok, and starting snap-dance fights. It's peer pressure, I tell you.

Fun Facts: I spent my junior year of college over in England, stationed at the University of Essex. Which happens to be in Colchester, the oldest recorded town in England and the place where Boudicca famously handed the Romans their asses.

I collect hats which is useful since my magical superpower is wearing hats and looking spiffy.

Every 2-3 years, I chop off at least 10 inches of my hair to donate. I've been doing this for about 10 years now.

My favorite authors are Spider Robinson, Terry Pratchett, Emma Bull, and Peter S Beagle (who also happens to be one of the sweetest old dudes around). Poetry goes to Rumi, Hafiz, and Neruda.

I used to dream of playing Rosaline in Shakespeare's As You Like It.

I will soon be a published erotica author under a pen name.

Character Name: Ogma
Plot suggestions: He's got the Encyclopedia of Everything Ever. People who have questions about What the Heck Is Going On would do well to consult with him.
Current Storylines: Right now, he's concerning himself with his growing family.
Character issues you wish to explore: Seeing him really get to use his powers for consulting or even as a strong man. Maybe bonding with his mythic brethren more...
Upcoming Storylines: So... He's finally going to be proposing to Lilith here...
Possible Plot Traits: Ogma is a very smart man, often with all the answers. He's also very strong and good at moving stuff. But, you mess with his family, and he'll skin you alive.

Character Name: Puck
Plot suggestions: He'd be great for causing mayhem! Also, needs to be meeting with Oberon, totally.
Current Storylines: He's still adjusting to mortal life, and currently acting as Mab's eyes and ears in places that she is unable or unwilling to go.
Character issues you wish to explore: Puck having to deal with human issues, like human emotion and human consequences for his actions might be interesting.
Upcoming Storylines: Chances are there will be an inevitable power struggle among the sidh'e characters, and he's likely to be right in the middle of all that.
Possible Plot Traits: Puck is a troublemaker at heart, just because it's fun. he's insatiably curious, and can't resist sticking his nose into things that look fun and interesting.

Character Name: Quetzalcoatl
Plot suggestions: eh seems to be the spiritual center of the game, ready to offer guidance toward those who are questioning themselves and their positions.
Current Storylines: He doesn't have a lot of specifics right now, but he's quickly realizing he's got a lot of catching up to do to be on par with the other six pantheons.
Character issues you wish to explore: Normally, he's so cool and collected, but it'd be interesting to see someone break through his control and make him do something he'll regret...
Upcoming Storylines: Quetzal is going to have to do a lot of things that the other groups have already achieved, especially regarding his own epicenter. He might need volunteers to help him sort through where he needs to go and what he needs to do.
Possible Plot Traits: He's a very kind man, but he's got a hell of a temper buried in there and he takes personal failure very seriously.

Character Name: Sif
Plot suggestions: She's up for whatever people need!
Current Storylines: Not a whole lot, specifically. Parenting, running her business. She seems to be the heart of the Norse pantheon, and sort of the right-hand-woman to Frigg.
Character issues you wish to explore: Seeing her have to take a leadership role or showcase her own personal strength might be interesting.
Upcoming Storylines: Nothing specific at present, but she is also sensing some of the Weird Stuff and will likely want to take action with that. She might also be interested in having another child or two down the line.
Possible Plot Traits: Sif is generally pretty loyal, but she can be manipulated into breaking her ties if she is convinced it'll be for the greater good or otherwise tricked into being faithless.

	Phonos is fairly easy to ruffle if Puck gets bored. What might get Quetz to do something he'd regret? Either way, I'd love for he and Phonos to continue their pseudo bro-dom. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Phonos and Quetzal totally should continue their intellectual bro-dom. Yes. XD As for getting him to do something he'd regret... the easiest method is to somehow compromise his judgment, as he is prone to doing Stupid Things then. Titania is, obviously, up for anything involving Ogma or Puck. She would have sent Lilith flowers in celebration of the new baby and Ogma would be included in the congrats. As for Puck... Well, then. She and Quetz would be kind of hysterical to bounce off each other since, quite frankly, they approach the world in two very different mindsets. As for Sif, hm, her parents' anniversary is coming up and everyone loves special cookies, right?

Hanuman is a curious little monkey. We'll leave it at that. Meanwhile, Bes is awfully busy.

Ares... Hm, he and Ogma could have some interesting discussions. Especially if Ogma finds out/figures out what Ares earns money on the side doing.
