Hey guys, it's about the middle of the month, and so far, September's looking a lot like August. Have no fear, Ash and I are gearing up some event fun to come later on, but we want all of you involved in playing too! So, here's a little way to get the plots flowing, hopefully! All you have to do is fill it out with copy and pasting, and talk with each other! You are all very strongly encouraged to participate. That's one step down from "mandatory."

Character issues you wish to explore: Upcoming Storylines: If you have upcoming storylines that aren’t meant to be a surprise, please list them here, list who’s involved, if it’s open/closed, and anything else you need! Possible Plot Traits: Things about your character that may trigger responses/plots from others.

Also, over the past few months, you've gotten to know your mods, but now we get to start learning about our fellow players with a Player of the Month (and this is purely voluntary to participate--but if we could get a volunteer for October, please let us know!), and this month it's Angie!

Name: Angie C because only people at work and my mother should call me Angela
Date of Birth: 11-30-78
Relationship Status: Single
Kids/Pets: I have 2 cats, a mismatched brother and sister duo named Lennon and Serendipity. Do roomies count? I have two of those, too.
Hometown: Pennsylvania
Day Job: Customer care rep for Hartford AARP Insurance.
Dream Job: Magical fairy princess karate master... But barring that, I would be a writer.

Mythological Background: My memory is a bit foggy but I'm pretty sure I discovered Greek mythology in about third grade and promptly became obsessed. I distinctly remember the location of the mythology books in the children's section - just one shelf over from my other obsession, fairy tales. I graduated to Egyptian and Roman and meandered my way through other pantheons over time. In fact, my first ever text-based RP was an interesting mash-up of the Magical Girl genre in anime and various world mythologies... And aliens. Because. Just aliens.

RP Background: I've been text-RPing since 2000 and have either modded or co-modded three games over that time. I have assisted in designing/building many more. I have more voices in my head than is strictly good for a person. I dabbled in tabletop back in high school, mostly the Hero system and DND, but found it nearly impossible to find another group that would let an icky girl in once I was away from school. Right now, I'm in... a lot of games. Mostly because this is my crack, people. It keeps me off the streets, running amok, and starting snap-dance fights. It's peer pressure, I tell you.

Fun Facts: I spent my junior year of college over in England, stationed at the University of Essex. Which happens to be in Colchester, the oldest recorded town in England and the place where Boudicca famously handed the Romans their asses.

I collect hats which is useful since my magical superpower is wearing hats and looking spiffy.

Every 2-3 years, I chop off at least 10 inches of my hair to donate. I've been doing this for about 10 years now.

My favorite authors are Spider Robinson, Terry Pratchett, Emma Bull, and Peter S Beagle (who also happens to be one of the sweetest old dudes around). Poetry goes to Rumi, Hafiz, and Neruda.

I used to dream of playing Rosaline in Shakespeare's As You Like It.

I will soon be a published erotica author under a pen name.

Character Name: Bastet
Plot suggestions: She... really doesn't have anything happening with her right now, except being closest to her pantheon's epicenter and experiencing much of the Weird Stuff first hand...
Current Storylines: She's not going through much, except as noted above. She's a ready resource for her pantheon members, though.
Character issues you wish to explore: She's... a cat. Maybe seeing her have a chance to be catlike. Or going Eye of Ra on someone/something's ass.
Upcoming Storylines: Nothing at the moment--open to suggestions!
Possible Plot Traits: Well, she's a cat, and so everything you'd expect from one. And also very protective of things she considers "hers."

Character Name: Erato
Plot suggestions: She's a busy girl, but she'd be up for whatever people wanted from her.
Current Storylines: Erato's major concerns right now are her upcoming marriage and current pregnancy. She's also been keeping a (rather tenuous) loyalty with the Western Greek Army division.
Character issues you wish to explore: Erato is still making the transition in some ways from the token moe character to having a few levels in badass. Might be interesting to see her have to show her spine.
Upcoming Storylines: Mostly wedding and baby stuff right now...
Possible Plot Traits: She's forever a romantic, and likes creativeness on that front. Also is endlessly loyal to Apollo and her sisters.

Character Name: Esther
Plot suggestions: She's open to pretty much whatever
Current Storylines: Same a usual. Helping Lilith prepare for Eireann's arrival, and working with the Washington bigwigs.
Character issues you wish to explore: A real relationship might be nice. As might something that'll require her to be heroic in something.
Upcoming Storylines: Nothing specific right now...
Possible Plot Traits: She can be manipulative sometimes. Also her talents lie with her sex appeal. Might make a difference to someone.

Character Name: Kali
Plot suggestions: You need someone tough, Kali's your girl!
Current Storylines: She's getting back into the ring again at long last, yay! Also trying to get used to the idea that she's now a pantheon leader and not just a lone wolf.
Character issues you wish to explore: Showing her caring/maternal-like side with the rest of her pantheon. Also open to actual ships for down the line, if someone would be interested in that.
Upcoming Storylines: Kali's going to soon have to take the helm on confronting the weird shit. She won't stand idly by forever. Also, in keeping her pantheon strong and united.
Possible Plot Traits: She's tough and coarse, but she's actually very protective and even a bit of a softie in there if she can be made to genuinely care about someone

	Naturally, Hanuman needs to hang out more with Kali. Bonding time and all that good stuff. Erato goes without saying, too. Lots of Bes time and she'll get to meet Hanuman when he goes up north (and he will play with all the kids!!!). Bes should also touch base with Bastet more and play catch-up. (Reply to this) (Parent)
