Hey guys, it's about the middle of the month, and so far, September's looking a lot like August. Have no fear, Ash and I are gearing up some event fun to come later on, but we want all of you involved in playing too! So, here's a little way to get the plots flowing, hopefully! All you have to do is fill it out with copy and pasting, and talk with each other! You are all very strongly encouraged to participate. That's one step down from "mandatory."

Possible Plot Traits: Things about your character that may trigger responses/plots from others.

Also, over the past few months, you've gotten to know your mods, but now we get to start learning about our fellow players with a Player of the Month (and this is purely voluntary to participate--but if we could get a volunteer for October, please let us know!), and this month it's Angie!

Name: Angie C because only people at work and my mother should call me Angela
Date of Birth: 11-30-78
Relationship Status: Single
Kids/Pets: I have 2 cats, a mismatched brother and sister duo named Lennon and Serendipity. Do roomies count? I have two of those, too.
Hometown: Pennsylvania
Day Job: Customer care rep for Hartford AARP Insurance.
Dream Job: Magical fairy princess karate master... But barring that, I would be a writer.

Mythological Background: My memory is a bit foggy but I'm pretty sure I discovered Greek mythology in about third grade and promptly became obsessed. I distinctly remember the location of the mythology books in the children's section - just one shelf over from my other obsession, fairy tales. I graduated to Egyptian and Roman and meandered my way through other pantheons over time. In fact, my first ever text-based RP was an interesting mash-up of the Magical Girl genre in anime and various world mythologies... And aliens. Because. Just aliens.

RP Background: I've been text-RPing since 2000 and have either modded or co-modded three games over that time. I have assisted in designing/building many more. I have more voices in my head than is strictly good for a person. I dabbled in tabletop back in high school, mostly the Hero system and DND, but found it nearly impossible to find another group that would let an icky girl in once I was away from school. Right now, I'm in... a lot of games. Mostly because this is my crack, people. It keeps me off the streets, running amok, and starting snap-dance fights. It's peer pressure, I tell you.

Fun Facts: I spent my junior year of college over in England, stationed at the University of Essex. Which happens to be in Colchester, the oldest recorded town in England and the place where Boudicca famously handed the Romans their asses.

I collect hats which is useful since my magical superpower is wearing hats and looking spiffy.

Every 2-3 years, I chop off at least 10 inches of my hair to donate. I've been doing this for about 10 years now.

My favorite authors are Spider Robinson, Terry Pratchett, Emma Bull, and Peter S Beagle (who also happens to be one of the sweetest old dudes around). Poetry goes to Rumi, Hafiz, and Neruda.

I used to dream of playing Rosaline in Shakespeare's As You Like It.

I will soon be a published erotica author under a pen name.

Character Name: Titania
Plot suggestions: Any kind of interaction/flirting/plotting. Titania is a free little beast, prone to interactions with anyone. She wants to make friends (and admirers!) and keep an ear to the ground about what the other power players are doing (notably Oberon and Mab but don't discount her deep interest in the likes of Seth, Aphrodite, Loki, etc).
Current Storylines: Not much, admittedly. She's been spending a lot of time with Heph and not really putting a title on it (but enjoying it immensely). She's had Puck for a visit and that's always a power-play tug-of-war. She's busily making sure Percival views her as "his" queen.
Character issues you wish to explore: Her need for attention and adoration vs her intelligence and more subtle machinations. She has no intention of challenging Mab for the leadership spot but she wants to make sure she knows everything she can and is positioned well should the shit hit the fan. She is also a wretched flirt with commitment issues so that's always fun - especially in light of whatever is going on between her and Heph.
Upcoming Storylines: Up for anything! She wants to meet all the peoples!
Possible Plot Traits: Flirting, subtle demands for attention and adoration, playing games. Crazy fun times!

Character Name: Hanuman
Plot suggestions: Anything at all. He needs to hang out more with his pantheon and I would love to throw him at Apollo and that WA crew. Does anyone else want a pet monkey?
Current Storylines: Nothing much. He and Anubis are close and he's working on making sure Sita is happy/safe/protected.
Character issues you wish to explore: His devotion to people, his loyalty to his friends. Breaking the news to his dad and continuing to balance his faith and his reality.
Upcoming Storylines: Whatever.
Possible Plot Traits: Crazy energy levels, doesn't think things through very well, friendly as a big slobbery puppy... Like I said, anyone want a pet monkey?

Character Name: Bes
Plot suggestions: Getting him settled into WA and his new life, finding a balance with leaving his adored faux nieces and nephew back in NYC, coping with being away from all of his pantheon (and Seth's paranoia). Wedding! Baby! OMG!
Current Storylines: He's settling into WA - new job, new fiance, upcoming baby. He's loving it but also secretly freaking out.
Character issues you wish to explore: His devotion to those he loves, his streak of hardcore protectiveness. What will the gentle teacher do when those he loves are threatened? Grrrrr.
Upcoming Storylines: Wedding! Baby! Anything else?
Possible Plot Traits: Protective nature, devotion to his word and his job and Erato and Alex, suddenly being so far away from everything he knows including his pantheon.

Character Name: Ares
Plot suggestions: He needs to interact more with others especially in his pantheon and deal with previous bad blood and stuff... and probably hit things. He's good at hitting things.
Current Storylines: Reconnecting with Dite, easing his way back into his pantheon.
Character issues you wish to explore: His anger and resentment and temper. The fact that he is a jerk and knows it but wishes he wasn't and... how he is kind of freaked out at how everyone kind of welcomed him back to the "family".
Upcoming Storylines: More interactions! With Dite, with the other Greeks, with anyone else. He and Kali need to hit the gym or something. It would be hilarious.
Possible Plot Traits: ... Him. Just him. Ares is jerk enough to trigger reactions.
