Am I the first person to finish reading this? *is honored* Seriously, I've been up since 6am, was exhausted, thought 'oh I'll just pop over to see what just got posted at Smutmas before going to bed' and then as soon as I saw Belle de Jour I was done for. And then that first section. The first section! Just. Spot. On. I mean, it's only been a couple of months since I read Diary of an Unlikely Call Girl. As soon as I started reading this, I was like... damnit, why didn't I think of this first! And then was immediately glad that I didn't because I got to read it. :-D So, yes, you might say that I liked it a lot. And it's well known that I'm not really an H/D person, but I think that the pairing fit perfectly, and I loved all of the little details. I'm such a sucker for a post-DH story that incorporates canon and oh god, SCORPIUS absolutely killed me dead. Amazing. And Draco's wife, and Pansy and Theo, and the little bit of Ginny, and the Harry/Percy, and just... This is what Smutmas is all about. TIS THE FUCKING SEASON. :-D (Reply to this)

	This is probably the best "whore!Draco" stories I've ever read. It worked out so well and the premise was beleivable. Not to mention completely adorable and hot. Oh God, this was so wonderful--truly. I was supposed to be in bed an hour ago, but I could not stop reading! The details were amazing. Draco's voice here was spot on--just so perfect. And Harry and Scorpius and Pansy and Theo and Sophie! I really loved Sophie and her relationship with Draco. But Draco really shined here. I'm so in love with this fic! Perfect balance of sweet and snark and angst and hotness. And the statue at the church--I loved that! Gah, so many favorite things about this fic. I have a feeling I'll be rereading this one quite a bit. (Reply to this)

Loved this! It's obvious how much hard work went into it -- it's beautifully and impeccably written. I adored Draco's 1st person voice, and your supporting characters added so much! Draco's love and affection for his son was pure love, and for me, gave him a depth and complexity that made this story something truly special. I spent way too much time reading this when I had so many other things to do, but it was worth every second. Thank you very much for sharing it. (Reply to this)

This is really outstanding - Draco's voice & Draco's perspective is really convincing. His emotional turmoil is beautifully paced and quite engaging & touching. And I love his relationships with his mother, his ex-wife, his son - & Pansy too. And the ending was very satisfying & moving - "We're an odd family, I suppose. Whores and Aurors, Gryffindors and Slytherins. New lovers and old. Somehow it strangely works. Mostly." - Gorgeous! (Reply to this)

I hate rent!boy fics with an UTTER, UTTER passion, I want you to know. But there is no way in fucking hell I would ever turn my nose up at such a delicious fic. You had me at the title. The first line is brilliant. Your first person POV is stellar. And basically, a shitload of work went into this. And it certainly did not escape my notice. I want to say I know who wrote this. I'm waffling between two of you. In any case, this fic is perfect, and it's getting recced on my IJ like now. This is my favorite fic of the fest so far. Whoever you are, whether we know each other or not, whether we speak or not, I want you to know that you not only gifted Char but the rest of us as well. Thank you!!! (Reply to this)

this is totally, beyond a doubt, the best fic in the entire holiday exchange lineup. I can barely even go into why because my head's empty and all a flutter with happy!thoughts! and I cant focus but WOWZA ♥ utterly brilliant piece. Perfect pacing, amazing narrative voice (srsly this is a rare First Person POV that just works so magnificently), deliriously good buildup and wonderfully well written minor chars and kids (Scorpius is the most darling little boy ever ♥). I haven't read any Smutmas stories yet, but the title caught my attention and I was pleasantly surprised to see an adaptation of The Secret Diary of a Call Girl. I could almost see Belle's bedroom when Draco went to his upstairs bedroom. Keeping the first person from the book/show was great, it really showed Draco's pov. The dialogue was fresh and captivating. The inclusion of the church and St. Thomas was amazing. Nice story. (Reply to this)

Oh, this was fantastic! I'm not usually one for the rentboy stuff, nor am I a big fan of Harry/Draco, but the title was alluring, and particularly at Smutmas time, I'm willing to read outside of my usual preferred "comfort" zone without much thought. And I'm so glad I did! I really really loved this story! The characters, the characterizations, all of the little details of the wizarding world - just bloody marvelous! Draco was beyond convincing, and I really loved the first person POV. I know a lot of people don't like to use it, particularly in fic, and admittedly, it can be done very poorly, but George RR Martin has made me a fan of it, in particular when it comes to characters that I'm not predisposed to like. In the same way I loathed Jaime Lannister and came to adore him when he became a POV character in that series, I really enjoyed Draco - far too much, I think! :-P And really, I can think of no higher praise (from this Marauder-R/S fangirl!) I enjoyed this story immensely! Thank you for entertaining me so thoroughly on this chilly December Saturday! I can't wait to find out who you are! (Reply to this)

	What a delightful story! I usually like any story with Draco as a whore, but this one tops my list of favorites. I loved the slow build up and the portrayal of Draco & Sophie's relationship post marriage. There wasn't one thing I could complain about or long for more of. Well done! (Reply to this)
