	I've tried several times to write this review, but I've failed each time. So now I'm going to make it short (even though I wanted to write something long) and to the point: This is the best fic I've read this year. I agree with all the wonderful things said about this fic so far. I want to add that I'm a sucker for whore fics and I love what you did with this. I love the first person POV (and that it's Draco's.) Your characterization was spot on and you inclusion of the major points in the epilogue was great. This is definitely one of those fics that I'll be saving to reread later. Thank you for crafting such a beautiful story. Charlotteschaos is really lucky. :) (Reply to this)

	Wow! Wowowowowowowow! First person when it's done this well is so compelling! And the detail! The characterization! I adore rentboy Draco with the fire of a thousand suns, but this went above and beyond, dear mystery writer. Truly one of the best fics of the year. This was fantastic! I'm a sucker for H/D whore fics, and one with Scorpius and the well-established family networks was a refreshing surprise. From the beginning, I was thinking 'wow, the idea of whoring to keep one's mother in the luxury to which she's been accustomed...and then to keep one's ex-wife as well?!' Wonderful. Now Sophie just laughs at Mother's sly jabs and promises her that the next time she marries, Mother can throw the grandest wedding London can imagine. Mother merely smiles and sips her Darjeeling, but I can already see the gleam in her eye as she tries to figure out who among her acquaintances has a marriageable son. I love the idea of Narcissa gaining a daughter-in-law who stays around for her. I think she could use all the family she has. Around "Yes, I know." Sophie looks slightly petulant. "But between your schedule and mine, we've not had dinner together for weeks," I started loving her relationship with Draco. And oh God, I fell in love with this story at the moment you culminated your dissection of wizarding society's attitude toward homosexuality with "Even Dumbledore was only spoken about in whispers, with a wink and a nudge and a tilt of the head so as not to call the kiddies' notice." Gaah, it fit so naturally into what you were saying and into canon! It makes me so happy! ~featherofeeling on ljl (Reply to this)

I had so many things on my to-do lists, and they were all promptly forgotten about 3 lines into your story. The characterization was marvelous. You kept Draco's arrogance and pride, even in the most unexpected of professions. And you managed to have the characters navigate a surprisingly difficult situation without going completely OOC. 	i'm never a if fan of Draco's, but this story blows me away. My heart aches for him in some parts of the story, this is a totally different Draco than the cannon brat. Love it. (Reply to this)

Wonderfully written! I'm a bit amazed at really really well done rentboy fics because it's a really difficult premise to pull off believably and many fail to really pull it off, but here? I am completely convinced this could happen. All the characters are well fleshed out. And first person POV works well. I loved the little things like the details that are what really make it a bit above the rest: the way Scorpius talks :) sometimes mangles a word or two, that he acts his four years old, how Draco absolutely loves his child and it's shown rather than told :) And that he would still sometimes like to 'drown him' and the fact that he's disgusted with his snot doesn't mean he loves him any less :)) Very true to life! I felt as though, yes, he's a parent. Often in fics the parental love is spoken of but not shown in such convincing domestic scenes - I love how it's shown here :) I also really loved some of the descriptions or turns of phrase, like for example: 'decorated in early divorce' says so much in so few words, I can picture it in my head so clearly, the missing pieces of furniture and slightly empty feel of the place as though more than the furniture is missing. I liked all the complicated relationships that Draco has - with his ex wife, his mother, his friends, his work and of course Harry in various stages of relationship and also how they all develop and how they are interconnected and how the story unfolds. One of my favourite fics of the fest and also one I'm sure I'll reread :) Thank you. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Can't believe I just spent the better part of the day reading Harry/Draco! I never read Harry/Draco. If they're all like this, however, I may have to change that. I think they may not be though. This is wonderful; so easy to read, and the characters are so intensely human. A lovely, romantic, gentle, story for Christmas. (And the sex was hot.) Thank you. (Reply to this)

OMG!!! That is one of the best fics in this fest, hands down. So many things that usually put me right off a fic worked so well in this one. I adored it sooo much! I apparently can't stop squeeing!!!! I usually hate first person as well as present tense, but both writing style were just so perfect for this fic I just can't imagine it any other way. Even though I usually prefer to pretend the epilogue never happened at all Draco and Sophie and Scorpius were so wonderful. So many things were just so spot on. I have so much love for Draco's voice. It was so perfect and so Draco. I don't really mind rentboy!Draco, but this is by far the best version of him I have ever had the pleasure of reading. Harry and Draco's relationship was so believable and the ending made me very happy as well. I do so love happy endings. And it was so christmassy! And so much love <3 for Harry asking Ron to help him make Draco jealous and having to take Lee instead! I loved so many things about this fic and I just can't possibly recall them at the moment as I've already stayed up far to late to finish it because I couldn't possibly stop reading. I used to be a sex worker, and I just have to say that I loved the voice and experience of your Draco. I fell in love with someone while working (not a client) and had to leave the business because of that- the way you handled his emotions concerning all of that was very realistic. If only things had worked as well for me with my lover... well, eight years down the road we did have a very nice weekend together, but it was no Harry/Draco story. Oh well- that's why we have writers like you, right? This was terrific, thank you. (Reply to this)

	I love this story so, so much. Absolutely everything about it - every plot-line, and twist, and detail - is perfect. The first person narrative and the characterizations are simply brilliant. Ooh!! I've seen this recc'ed from here to the moon, and with good reason, I now realise after reading it! What a spectacular story! I adore prostitution/rent-boy/whore/whatever stories, and this one was done just so beautifully. Draco's narrative voice was spot-on, and you used the first-person to such great effect. It's such a tricky tense, but this fic really needed it, and it worked so well. I love the whole universe of this, especially Harry and Draco as young fathers. I just adored Draco's interactions with Scorpius, especially when he admitted to himself that sometimes he just wanted to chuck the child out a window. Children are revolting! *cackles* I loved that so much. And his relationship with Sophie was wonderful. She was a fantastic OC. Harry was just wonderful as well - I do so love a story with one experienced gay character teaching another the ropes (the rimming! *dies*) - and Narcissa was great, and Draco's musings about the war and the ostracised Slytherins and the way things are, socially, in the wizarding world... all just so well done. And Pansy and Theo! God, that first sex scene with Theo knocked me flat, because I wasn't quite expecting it, and the opening line of that segment was so gorgeous and erotic I think I read it 12 times. a;slkjdg. And, um, what else? Oh, just everything! I loved it all. Fantastic story!! And suddenly I am very glad to have this icon lying around! ;) (Reply to this)

	I'm not even a fan of rentboy!Draco, but this was delicious. The details, the relationships, Scorpius!, and Draco's voice was perfect. I can't get over how brilliant this was.... Ah, the cardinal sin was an interesting concept. Well done! (Reply to this)
