Oh, this was fantastic! I'm not usually one for the rentboy stuff, nor am I a big fan of Harry/Draco, but the title was alluring, and particularly at Smutmas time, I'm willing to read outside of my usual preferred "comfort" zone without much thought. And I'm so glad I did! I really really loved this story! The characters, the characterizations, all of the little details of the wizarding world - just bloody marvelous!

Draco was beyond convincing, and I really loved the first person POV. I know a lot of people don't like to use it, particularly in fic, and admittedly, it can be done very poorly, but George RR Martin has made me a fan of it, in particular when it comes to characters that I'm not predisposed to like. In the same way I loathed Jaime Lannister and came to adore him when he became a POV character in that series, I really enjoyed Draco - far too much, I think! :-P And really, I can think of no higher praise (from this Marauder-R/S fangirl!)

I enjoyed this story immensely! Thank you for entertaining me so thoroughly on this chilly December Saturday! I can't wait to find out who you are!
