	fantastic story! saved me on an otherwise awful transatlantic flight :). i love that draco is unapologetic about what he does, that he's a wonderful father, and that he falls for harry. i love when they dance in harry's kitchen. and the smut...guh. my favorite story in smutmas so far, that's for sure. 	This was brilliant, and pretty much everything I like in a fic. The characterizations were spot on. I love Draco's voice in this, and I can picture your Harry perfectly. I adored him as much as Draco did. And I love Sophie and Scorpius and the Potter kids too. The sex was incredible! Just an amazing fic overall! I loved every minute of it! (Reply to this)

Drarry is not my favorite but this was so amazing!!! I love Draco the whore with a heart. I wanted to cry every time he mentioned his father and what happened after the war. I love how Draco couldn't help be turned on by Harry every time he looked at him that was hot. Harry was still Harry but not 13 year old Harry he was adult Harry confident and sexy with that child like tinge, lovely. Harry under the table with Albus was the cutest thing I have ever read in a fic so endearing. I also liked how sometimes it was prefectly clear to believer Draco's statements and feelings about things and then every so often you would know he didn't mean it, I loved that. AND Harry kissing Percy!?!?! NOOOOOO! I was hoping for Bill or a little George action but not Percy, oh well. Beautiful and wonderful and thanks to midnitemarauder for the rec. (Reply to this)

	Been trying to find time to read this since it went up, and finally did -- well worth the wait! Marvelous work at making whore!Draco realistic, both actions and emotions; Sophie was a wonderful OC, and in fact all the secondary characters were impressively well-done. *applauds heartily* (Reply to this)

I was quite determined not to read this the first few times I clicked on it, as I do not have a big love for rent-boy fic and I really don't like first person writing, and yet, I was up til 4am trying to finish this last night and just spent the afternoon finishing it. I have to admit that the pomp and just the whole attitude was SOOOO Draco. Like, perfectly. Congratulations on a job well done. And I love the French dropped so effortlessly in. XD (Reply to this)

This is wonderful from start to finish! The emotional arc, the characterizations, the details (Drosselmeier!), everything flowed and fit beautifully! The interplay of the various characters, the secrets, and not-so-secrets. I loved Pansy. And Scorpius. I could see hints of Severus in Draco. I liked that Draco never sugar coated his work. And he and Harry came up with a compromise. I especially like how you've made it work with the epilogue, thus making the epilogue palatable. (Reply to this)

	I want to say so many things about this story, but my hands are too impatient to type very well, they'd much rather be flailing and toddler-fisting over the excellentness of the story. I loved everything about this, from the inclusion of the families, to Draco's messy feelings, to the happily-ever-after. This was a superbly well-told story. (Reply to this)

Wow, she says quietly. That was one *wonderful* story, one of my favourites this year (and I'm suffering from severe H/D overload already, so you can tell that I really, really loved it, *g*). Ended up with four hours of sleep last night because this kept me glued to the screen all night... Your Draco is gorgeous, with his family history and slightly hyper son, and his profession of which he is, *gasp*, proud! I loved his voice throughout. I adored the sex, and the gradual way Harry keeps worming himself into his thoughts and life, and the scary bang of reveals with Harry's furious reaction. Ron was a right prick here, too. Amazing Slytherin dynamics there, too, especially with Pansy at the end (and omg, Ginny snowing in to give Draco a talking to...). The story was so very hot, but what I loved most (apart from how brilliantly both Harry's and Draco's families were woven into the tale asa whole) was that they had their happy end *without* Draco having to give up what makes him Draco - he didn't have to bend himself out of character or sacrifice his personality to become 'worthy' of Harry. That was absolutely lovely. Wonderful, outstanding fic that was a true pleasure to devour :). charlotteschaos is one lucky woman! (Reply to this)

Can I just tell you how much I hate rent-boy fics -- like with a burning passion of a thousand suns. That said, this is one of the best stories in the fest this year. OMG, I just loved it. I'm not sure why I even started it, but one I started, I just couldn't stop. It drew me in and kept me reading. Wow. This was just so good. Your characterizations of Draco and Harry and well, everyone else too, were fantastic. I loved Sophie, and Ginny and Narcissa. Very well done!! (Reply to this)

My comment can never do your story justice. I know that. But still, I have to try to tell you how utterly brilliant this story is. This was so rich with details: the pastries, the talking statues in the church, the silver frogs on Sophie's cloak... Narcissa's acceptance - I could have kissed her! And Ginny rocked (being not fond of her in canon, this means even more)! Pansy/Theo had me in tears. So sad. And alas, so realistic. Draco having had fanboyed Severus - that's so very cute. *sniffs* I loved Draco in this. I always enjoy when he is portrayed as someone who has grown up. He was great. So amicably with Scorpius, eye-to-eye in a good trusting way with Sophia, tender towards Narcissa. I enjoyed the complexity of his friendship with Pansy, that he understood what she had done and that this didn't destroy their friendship. Sometimes I wonder what life would be like had we made different choices, all of us. Not just after the war but before it. But I've not a time-turner. And what-ifs are of no use. I've a son I'm proud of and an ex-wife I adore and a mother I worship. And for that I've little to complain about. I loved how he was able to appreciate his life, he seemed so centred. And yet he was by no means perfect. He was human, with fears and wrong decisions, like his affair with Theo. Loved to see how fast and hard Draco was falling for Harry, how he cast everything aside to be with him. Dreaded the backfiring, of course, but it was so beautiful to watch how Draco became so innocent again. Especially when he made love to Harry in that last scene, but before as well, when they were dating. Then again, we're not Gryffindors, are we? And our nest was trampled underfoot, sending us slithering away in fear. I don't think any of us have quite overcome that yet. We all lost too much, in our own ways. I think that part of this explains Draco's stubbornness to let go his job. He has worked so hard to define himself, to make a living and take care of his family. And Harry in his glorious, self-centred jealousy demands that Draco should let go. Draco's mantra: I'm good at it - it's so obvious, and yet something that's very hard for Harry to comprehend. As for Draco, he realises that he can't go back, but it's hard for him to admit this to himself. The sex between Harry and Draco was scorchingly hot! That last sex scene was so beautiful. The difference between this and the beginning, when Draco said that all sexual activities were the same to him, showed just how much he had changed. And the ending was perfect. It's a dream come true, this openness and mutual support. A family of friends and lovers, of Whores and Aurors, Gryffindors and Slytherins. New lovers and old. Somehow it strangely works. Mostly. This is what I dream of. And to see it come true in a story really made my day. Thank you very, very much for this story. It will stay with me for a long time. (Reply to this)
