stephanie brown ( B A T G I R L )
[The alarm she set the night before, to get up early today, maaaaybe suffered a snooze or two. So it's a little while until Steph finally gets up blearily, sometime before the bots start ushering people out of the dome. Because that would just not be a pleasant experience, as much as this girl is NOT a morning person at all. It's bad enough to often wake up reeling from dreams and all, to attempt to function like a normal person in the first place. HERE'S TO TRYING...

She grabs a bag with her batsuit and boots in it and sling it over her shoulder, stuffs herself in a coat + scarf ensemble and sets out, determined. Her hands are stuck deep in her pockets for warmth and effect.]

Brr.

[Also, talking to herself.]

Okay, Steph, this is gonna be our thing today. Just gonna hunt down one of these little bot dudes and find a different place to sleep for the night. Not freezing: priority number one.

Easy as pie. [Maybe she'll go back to sleep if this can get done now.]

[Incubator hadn't been made aware of this place before, so he decides to approach the situation with caution. Instead of joining the chorus on the communicator, the small fuzzy creature listened for a while as he examined his welcome basket. Then he paused, trying to psychically search for local magical girls, only to find that his telepathy was greatly limited. It was enough to make a decision or two about his immediate predicament, even if he would have to perform more tests too discern the extent of his new limitations.]

[Eventually, he abandons his basket on the walkway and climbs the nearest tall building with a set of deft jumps. He contorts his body so his paw can reach the communicator. Time for the first test--who can hear him?]

[Voice]

[QB speaks with a rather cute and upbeat voice, sounding almost like it might belong to a child--an effect ruined by his mature word choices. He doesn't address anyone in particular; he appears to be thinking out loud.] Of course there hasn't been a mistake. When every action is a crime, every person is a criminal.

This prison appears to be the result of an advanced culture lacking the ability to consider moral relativism. None of you should feel so alarmed by the accusations. What may have been acceptable on your world doesn't match the legal acceptability of this advanced artificial intelligence.

Committing crimes does not automatically make you a "bad person" by your standards, because your standards were never considered or applied to begin with.

GRAHAM AKER!VIRGO DESTINY
[Graham's expression is serious, and understandably so. There's quite a lot to think about right now, and a lot to take in.]

To any comrades of mine who may have been brought alongside me here: this is Captain Graham Aker. I ask that you contact me as soon as possible.

[He would have ended this post right there, but he's been struck with another thought.]

To anyone else who may be listening... Do you accept this place as your rightful punishment? Or have you been wrongly imprisoned?

Would you say this is adequate justice?

[It takes him next to no time at all to figure out the communicator, and when he realises that Lilo and the others are nowhere nearby, Stitch went on a searching spree for them. He can still be found, running along, looking around frantically]

Lilo! Lilo!

[His English is awkward, obviously not his first language. Finally, annoyed with how badly his search is going, he turns the communicator on. Maybe Lilo or the others have one!

Ooooo video screen. Helpful! Scanning for his ohana and wondering which of the many here put him in here]
Aka boocha... [The alien mutters under his breath, words untranslated. It's probably guessable though, since he's a newbie here. He growls a little before speaking up again] Lilo! Nani? Pleakly? Jumba? [Come ooooon, if he's here, Jumba at least has to be. Where's an evil genius scientist when you need one?]

Tsunayoshi "Tsuna" Sawada
[Upon waking, Tsuna has the brief wondering of where he is, and then has the feeling that something is... different. He doesn't feel different, so it takes him a few sleepy moments to will himself to sit up and try to figure it out. He looks at his hands, at the rest of his body, touches his face. Nope, everything is the same (thank goodness). So what..? Turning, his eyes roam to the rest of the room and what's there makes him pause.

Or, to be more specific, what isn't there makes him pause. His room is bare except for the normal furniture and such that was in all of the rooms of the shelters. It's like back when he'd first arrived; everything feels... empty, almost unlived in with no personal belongings in it. Tsuna walks around inspecting, noticing that his gloves are there, his pill box, and his ring is securely on a chain around his neck as usual, but that's it as for more personal objects. Where did all of his stuff disappear to? Like the things he'd gotten here and not initially brought with him?

He fumbles with the communicator, switching it onto video. A rather ruffled looking Tsuna gazes into the recorder with wide brown eyes, an innocently confused expression on his face]

Hey, everyone? Can someone explain to me why... well, this might sound weird but... None of my stuff is here anymore. D-Did... Acumen take them or something? I-I didn't do anything wrong did I..?

[And Shinra, oddly enough, is smiling as he wears the headset.]

This is new! I've never been much for bluetooth systems, much less those with screens... How peculiar, though. I'm going to assume the screen's primarily for some sort of video or retina scanner, yes? Because there's not much else one can do unless this also acts as a viewfinder for light particles not seen by the naked human eye...

[Oh right. Nerd speak. And there's the whole ‘being somewhere unfamiliar' thing, the more important things to focus on! Koi ponds, places far too pretty to be the local streets of Ikebukuro, Japan... After his brief moment of distraction with the headset, his smile drops. Srs Bsns Shinra Tiem.]

As much as I appreciate getting to play with this new device, I'm pretty certain I shouldn't be here. Assuming whoever gave me this is who brought me here, I apologize but I can't stay. I have a date with my girlfriend tonight, and I'd rather her not find out I've gone missing.

Ribbons Almark
[ As to why he had allowed to happen a second time, he doesn't know. In the midst of preparing for moving in temporarily to the Shelter the next day, Ribbons pads over to Hiling's room, tray of steeping hot tea and a pot, two cups and a bowl of fruit.

Without knocking, he steps into her room, places the tray on her night stand and sits on the edge of her bed. He reaches out to touch the lump under the sheets, approximately where her shoulder should be. While his voice is gentle, there is still that edge to it -- that there was was something that he had seen and he didn't like it. ]

Hiling? Would you like some tea?

李 紅蘭 | Kohran Li
[ It was really very generous of Duo to have let her crash over at his place for the day. She had made sure to set her things aside the night before in the Shelter so the bots won't throw things out accidentally, and that it would be more presentable than the last time he had seen her place.

Scarf wound securely around her neck, red coat secure, wool hat on her head and overnight bag slung over a shoulder, she made her way around for a bit of shopping first -- she recalled that Duo was a late riser so she decided to fetch a few things they can eat together. ]

----- [ Closed to Duo ] -----

[ Later in the morning, in the hopes that her approximation is more or less correct, she'll be at Duo's doorstep now with shopping cradled in an arm. Here's to hoping he's awake now...

Knock knock knock! ]

(( OOC: Action open at Sector 5's Convenience Store and its environs. Help her pick out something to bring to her host, maybe? :3c ))

Alright, Acumen.

[No, Simon has not read the pamphlet. He hasn't even seen the welcome basket. All he needed was the welcome message to be provoked. He doesn't realize that this won't get him in direct contact with Acumen. He probably doesn't care.]

JUST WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK I AM!?

[You can't keep the leader of Team Dai-Gurren down, not when he's got a fiancée to save. As far as Simon's concerned, this is all he has to say. But he still decides to add something to that.]

You know it -- my name is Simon. Simon the Digger, and leader of Team Dai-Gurren. And if you think that you can stop me - stop us - then you're wrong. I don't care how far below the ocean we are, or if you think separating me from the others and Gurren Lagann will stop me, you're completely mistaken. Don't underestimate me. Don't underestimate us!

I will find her, and I will save her. I will fight like hell, and I will never give up!

[Blah blah FIGHTING SPIRIT!!!!!!!!!!!!]

[And then after a minute, his voice lowers. It's much more somber, and only a few notches over a whisper, but that determination is still present.]

Wait for me... Nia. I'll find you. I'll get you back.

[Nasuti appears on the video wearing an over-sized letter jacket.]

So, which of you boys am I drafting into taking me shopping?

Try not to hurt each other in your rush to volunteer, now. There will be future opportunities. [This is said a bit facetiously, with a wink.]

Because you guys wouldn't actually expect me to wander around this big, foreign city by myself, riiight?
