What-- where am I? This isn't the shelter or our house...

Brother? Suzaku? Can you hear me? I--I can't see...

PM ♕ Prospitian Monarch
[Waking up and realizing you can't see is bothersome enough. Calling your best friend for help and getting no response? ... well, only slightly more bothersome, really. She knows Ribbons won't be unreachable for long, and then he can roped into helping with the evening route. But the morning tasks must NOT be put off, so she must call someone else.]

[Until she can decide just who to call, she manages the easy jobs: dressing herself, unlocking the office door, and feeding Castell.]

[Now to find her way back to her desk and sit down...]

((OOC: Ryoji has already been volunteered to help her, but you're welcome to come by if you have early morning business with PM~ or just want to watch her walk into walls.))

Lacus Clyne
[Lacus had tried to use her communicator to call Suzaku, but she finds herself unable to speak when she tries. Thankfully, Pink is still programmed from when she lost her voice in the attack, and so after a few minor adjustments to the interface, she is off to the Defense Force headquarters to notify him of the perpetrators of the hack.]

[She's heard nothing from Neil, and the signal has not restarted. She only hopes Tieria is all right.]

[Pink is silent for once as Lacus enters the HQ, knocking extra loudly to make up for her lack of a verbal greeting.]

[ the feed starts up to a rather wide-eyed face. the shot itself is skewed, tilted at an odd angle, and only just focused on his face. he doesn't seem to be looking directly at the screen; his gaze is just the slightest bit off. ]

Has power gone out? The lights don't work. I can't even tell if this damn thing is working either.

Is anyone else experiencing problems?

[ the area behind him is brightly lit; it looks like the area by the library. his tone is an irritable one, but there's a hint of something else bubbling up there. panic? ]

(ooc: struck blind and without a sense of taste. aw yeah.)

Terezi Pyrope
[ The feed clicks on, but the communicator isn't on Terezi's head but in her hand instead. She's somehow managing to keep hold of it, but it's incredibly wobbly as she rises up off her cot.

Oh, and those words? Laced with HATE. ] Who did this?
Who fucked with my treehive?

[ There is a pan of the room, and things look okay, except for when she dares to take a step. The image swivels and stops solid as she stumbles against a wall, the wood creaking from the sudden strain. ] It's like someone moved me onto a gogdamn hill or something.

[ More steps. ] If I figure out which of you nubslurping FUCKPODS did this, I'll--

[ She'd have more to say, but when then the video is nothing but a series of colorful blurs for a few seconds as the communicator tumbles from her grip and down to the (thankfully) soft grass below. Everyone watching is treated to a sideways view of the park, and the very edge of the tree that Terezi's treehive was built in. ]

[ And then you all get to see one troll girl take a non-too-graceful swan-dive onto the grass. That... had to be about two stories high, from the perspective of the fall, and for a long moment, she doesn't move. ]

[ Muffled by the ground, she coughs. ] You. Are. In. ssooooo much fckng...hnng...

Alma Karma
[Alma woke up this morning and it was very dark and quiet. So dark, he thought that maybe the monsters had come back again. He can't even see his hand in front of his face! He grabs his communicator and turns it on--also cutting on the video instead of voice. The screen shows his face, but there's something off. His eyes are not looking forward at it like they should be.]

What happened last night? [his voice is louder than normal. He pauses. Frowns. He gets up out of his bed, only to stumble and fall, hitting the ground.] Ouch. Why's everything so quiet? Allen! Lavi! You guys okay?!

{OOC: Alma cannot see OR hear, so anyone who tries to talk to him will receive skewed reactions unless they manage to get him face-to-face.}

[Saki's stepped up from hiding in her house. Unable to take the stale air and ugly curtains for a third day in a row, she fled to the well-lit and airy expanse of the library.]

[Anyone who ventures toward the back will find her sitting against the far wall, a book balancing precariously across her lap. On one side of her is a pad of yellow lined paper and a pen. The other side, her shed coat lying in a heap and her communicator sitting on top it, wholly ignored. She doubts she'll be needing it today.]

((OOC: Saki's been deprived of speech! Clearly she needs to be poked. Closed thread with Lavi.))
The 91st Day
29 November 2010 at 09:59 pm
Marina Asylum Denizens
Good morning inmates. It is the 91st Day of the third generation.

A hacking attempt occurred last night, and those involved have been handled appropriately by this system. Nothing significant was achieved by this, save for an error that has been introduced to the dimensional stabilizer, so some inmates may experience some side effects and disturbance to their daily lives. However, these are only temporary and will be addressed by the end of the day, so there is no need to worry.

I will be engaging in a full self-check to ensure that everything is, and will be, functioning as intended. Due to this, there may be a delay with kiosk requests made today. However, inmates Saki Konishi and Harry Potter, this does not affect your own. They are at the entrance to Sector 0.

((ooc: Please note that the Innovades involved in the hacking attempt will wake up in the hospital, and will have had their quantum brainwaves "disabled". Contact a mod if you need more info/weren't informed!))

[Have a Russell glaring and looking very pissed off. He holds up a piece of paper he's scribbled a note on close to the screen.]

I fucking hate this place. Just so you all know. I'd say that outloud but my voice appearently isn't working so I can't. And before anyone says something about 'oh you just can't hear', no. No, I can hear just fine, although I might have slight hearing damage from the dog barking into my ear this morning.

[At the very bottom, Russell has drawn a lovely picture. There's a stick figure about an inch long, with arms and legs and a head. On top of it is written Me. Next to it is a very small dot. There's an arrow pointing to it just to make sure you see it. Above that is written Ed.]

Kamui
[ Has heard enough over the network to understand it's not a power outage. It's just him... and a few others who seem to be unable to see.

But Kamui is a stubborn, stubborn vampire, and ventures out of his apartment anyway. He doesn't exactly go far, but he'll be damned if there's something that will keep him from doing what he wants to. He relies on his other senses to tell him when he's about to hit something. Eventually, he finds a light post to stop beside -- the metal is cool against his fingers. He's taken his communicator off and holds it in one hand; it's too difficult to hear what's around him with it on. ]
