[Day 71: the first day of the Marina Asylum Postal Service! And it is a busy one, much to a parcel mistress' delight. The Peregrine Mendicant can be seen skittering energetically around the dome, with a bag full of letters that she is eager to deliver.]

• From Euphemia: letters to all the teachers, as well as Guilford and Lelouch.

[Now that her route is complete, she can take a moment at the post office to catch her breath. That light-headed feeling isn't oxygen deprivation due to exercise, it is the THRILLING RUSH OF CIVILIZATION.]

[Kairi's face could mostly be made out in her feed. After a run in with the "nasty ma", she was learning to be a little more discreet about her whereabouts. Of course, logically? If she really wanted to play it safe, she should have just stuck with audio-- but she wasn't that worried. It might have even been just a precaution for the sake of her newly acquainted friends around the prison.

Her face seemed a little fallen. Concerned.]

Has anyone seen Sora? He was supposed to meet me hours ago. I'm starting to get a little worried.

[Kairi swung her legs as she sat on a bench. She was at the beach again. That had been where she had agreed to meet with Sora-- and where she had been stuck waiting for him for hours upon end. There were plenty of times during that waiting period that she had thought to leave. People needed her help back at the hospital. Despite all her time that she put in there, she felt that she might still be needed. She had actually been kicked out because they had felt she was working too hard, but she couldn't help it. Being useful to people, being able to help instead of hinder as she before. The sense of satisfaction was charming to her.

Still. She stayed...

When she had first come there, the sun was far overhead. Now though... it was starting to dip away. She shuffled her feet in the sand and sighed. Just a few more minutes....]

(ooc: I've heard that my text was ungodly small 'cause my modifications fooled me into thinking it was a reasonable size, so I apologize for that and hope my tags are more forgiving on the eyes from now on!)

Early evening (closed to Suzaku, Lelouch, Minako, and WALL-E)

[ The honest truth is that Suzaku has no real idea what to expect when Minako calls him up -- sure, she did suggest a dinner date tonight, and he had thought then that she might be planning something, but he's already made his own plans too -- and stealing away to do some fishing with Lelouch and his birthday present is totally date enough, right?

But Minako is excited when she calls, and that makes him feel kind of excited in turn. And okay -- maybe a little nervous, too, but not because he doesn't trust her. If he didn't trust her, after all, he never would have told her about any of this. ]

[He had tried to contact Takami today, but received no answer. And when he queried the system and received the message that Takami was no longer among them.... Well, it had certainly dampened his mood for the day. Takami had been his friend here, someone who's company he had enjoyed and whom he found intriguing in his own right. To have him suddenly spirited away, like a ghost.... It was reminiscent of another he had cared for, though much more deeply than he had for Takami. All the same, the disappearance brought up feelings and thoughts that were hard to shove back down.

So he called the one person he knew who had a cheerful attitude no matter what - his 'fiancee' (because yes he was still indulging the other's continued insistence that was what they were) - Sakamoto. He was currently waiting beneath the trees Ammy had planted for the other, considering some petals in his hand, and looking less than pleased.]
