They were a little unsure of letting Ribbon wander around more and more lately. After her run in with the boy who decided to climb a tree after her, Ernie and Geno weren't exactly certain they could control her if it should come down to that. Of course, it was liable to come down to that. However, trying to keep her from going where she wished to go was an impossibility. They didn't have any choice but to follow along.

It was after seven, there was a fight in the obstacle arena and Ribbon had decided (one was never quite certain of her thought processes either) that she wanted to go to a fight. So she was perched on the edge of the railing, literally. It made her look like she was about to jump in, but there wasn't anything anyone dared do about it. Her ribbons were flattened around her and what spectators there had been sitting in the area directly around her found themselves new seats. Each of her handlers found a space on either side of her, looking down into the arena.

"You interested in what's going on or just bored," Ernie asked her and she turned her face his direction before smiling at him. That was not a sweet and happy expression. In fact, it made him shiver and look away. Then she went back to seemingly watching what was going on. The match was about over. Ribbon didn't appear to be either interested or bothered by that idea.

Where: Beginning in Medical, moving to the Hotel dining room
What: Dr. Larson is charged with seeing if Violet can be rehabilitated and reaches out to an outsider for assistance.

What: The Beach Party.

It was a beautiful day. Sunshine, blue water, white sand, absolutely beautiful. Violet fully intended to take advantage of it. The woman herself was dressed in what most would consider her normal fashion. Short shorts, a minimal top, she had her shoes in her hand. She was practically skipping as she moved along the beach, it made her happy. Violet hadn't been able to really go to the beach on the outside because of her looks and the fact that others would ask questions. She lived her life trying to avoid having people ask questions, so the only time she went to the beach was when she was with Tracy, the two of them, alone in the dark.

It was so different to see the water as blue and not black. It would be quite different if she could see this was Tracy. She had loved him completely. Now he was gone and she was having to make a new life. A new life that included regular beatings, forced sex, and a larger than normal dose of violence. What was perhaps the sickest was the simple fact that Tracy would have gloried in this shit. He'd have been all over the idea of gladiators. He loved fights. Loved the thrill of winning on his own terms. Maybe that was why she didn't have such a hard time with this.

D was her darling, who had vehemently been opposed to the idea of dressing in anything less than his best, but considering his best was not suited to the idea of a summery field trip, he simply had to deal with the idea of wearing something other than his normal black tie affair wardrobe. She had chosen to sit out of the discussion about what he was supposed to wear, Victor had provided the clothes and D had just been pushed to getting dressed in order to go. He wasn't about to let Violet out of his sight for a long period of time. So he was stuck with having to go along.

Now they were out there and things would be fun if she had to kill someone to make it that way. They were going to enjoy this time outside, fresh air, cool breeze, blue water, sunshine...it was going to be a beautiful day.
