Aidrian wanted to nap, the engines of the private jet rumbled in a soothing enough pattern. But the butterflies in his stomach and wariness of the dark-haired gentleman seated nearby made it impossible. He hadn't slept well the last night or two and the prickling soreness in his eyes made that fact far too clear. He was extra aware of the weight of his collar, uncertain what exactly he'd been contracted for. The rumors painted this owner as one who liked males, particularly mutant males in his bed for a bit of fun. Aidrian had always enjoyed sex with either gender, but it was something else to be handed over for such use without consent. He had little experience with airplanes, they made him nervous. Had he been in horse form, the stallion's tail would have been swishing frequently. Instead he was settled in a not too uncomfortable seat, hands curled a little more tightly than necessary about the armrests.
His owner had not given much explanation, just told him to get ready and follow along. Having missed the first meal, his stomach was now complaining softly at the lack. Faintly, he picked up an older scent he recognized. It had been awhile since he'd seen the blond feral, but the smell of him was on this plane. Aidrian frowned slightly, dark brows knitting together in a puzzled expression. Did Kyle have something to do with this? They hadn't spoken since the blond had given the answer Aidrian dreaded. As far as he could tell, this was a private jet and the male with him a mutant as well as an owner. Kyle's owner? Jason was a mutant? The idea of a mutant owning another mutant rubbed him the wrong way, a flash of temper brightening liquid-dark eyes for a moment. Ownership like that practiced on Revolve bothered him plenty to begin with. One of their kind owning another, moreso. But Aidrian was not surprised nor naïve. The world was not so black and white as that. Not really so black and white at all.
Unease prickled down his spine, distrust of the man as well as the plane itself growing. There had been little in the way of conversation so far, not that he minded. He had nothing to say to most owners. The look the older male had given him upon meeting had immediately put Aidrian's back up. Being around the other mutant kept his stomach in knots. There was most definitely something beneath the gentlemanly façade . And he had a feeling it was directed at him. Except that Aidrian had never met the male before and couldn't figure out what the owner held against him. Just a certainty that the emotion was there. It had kept him unsettled from their departure and through the first part of the plane ride. He glanced out the window, trying to keep his nerves from showing, hoping to be out of this thing soon. If he had to be flying, he'd rather it be on his own power.
