Oliver got to the pitch a little before eight and hopped onto his broom to take a few laps and clear his head before Penny arrived. He started slowly and got faster with each lap, little more than a blur until he broke suddenly out of the ellipse that was the stadium to loop around the set of rings closest to the entrance.
Man and broom both were weaving in and around the rings as the hour struck eight. |
