A walk in the park (Baba)

After finding out that Fred was okay, Sam had made his way to the hospital. He wanted to talk to the woman that he'd tried to kill and make sure that she actually did have those supposed memory issues. He had to make sure that she couldn't spill the beans on the fact that he'd tried to kill her or perhaps on what she'd read. The book would have burned in the fire, so as long as Fred's memories were gone, then that knowledge could stay buried.

There was a low level of frustration when he discovered that Fred wasn't currently in the hospital. In fact, Fred had been allowed out on an outing. The nurse that he spoke with didn't seem too thrilled with giving the information but apparently the man who was watching out for Fred had left a contact list and the Winchesters and Dinah had all been on it.

That was a good thing, Sam thought. It would make it easier to keep tabs on her. He thanked the nurse and then headed to the park. It was a big park, but he had the patience to comb the place thoroughly while seeking out his prey.

Just another night? (Lestat - Random Pairing Challenge)

It was a usual night. A very usual night, which meant boring. Pam was dressed in some of her fetishistic finest, black leather, corset, heels. Her hair was pulled up in a severe bun; a leather collar with a very nice buckle wrapped bout her neck. She seemed very comfortable in the gear even if it wasn't her normal. She rested her hands on the counter as she waited for the tourist to stop staring and order.

There were hunters on the other side of the bar who looked very much like they wanted to end the vampires who were serving the humans in the "nicer" side of the bar. There were vampires who were watching the hunters as if they wouldn't have minded feeding or scaring them. Pam wouldn't have minded scaring many of them brainless; then again, she honestly wondered how much brain these hunter types really had.

Yes, just a usual night in Purgatory. Just another night of brainless bore.

A little warm sun (River - Random Pairing)

Dinah was a good friend. Fred couldn't remember her, but Fred could tell she was a good friend. There was something nice about knowing she had more than one good friend in the City looking out for her. She hadn't expected that, not ever. It was nice to have a friend, and it was wonderful that her friends both wanted the best for her.

In this case, her friend had gotten her outside. She needed to be outside or at least out of the hospital room. She sighed softly as she settled on the bench; the sun was bright and warm. She was in normal clothes again, and she was even enjoying a coffee. A yummy danish and a cup of coffee. Sure, it may seem like she was an old lady the way she liked her danish and coffee, but she wasn't going to apologize for it.

The sun made her too happy to care. So did the coffee and danish. Of course, she was a little concerned that there might be a shooter out there looking for her, but she could forget that for now. Or at least for the moment.

The opera (Erik - Random Pairing)

Eric wanted to do something special for his new wife. Something unexpected. He was very much enjoying his time with her, loving her, loving that she was his. She was everything he had ever looked for in a mate, and more. He did so love to spoil her.

His idea took him to the City Opera House, he needed to talk to the man in charge.

He'd been on a couple occasions, to see the works that were put on, and he had been very impressed with the way that everything had been run. The actors had been perfect, the music divine. It was because of these things that Eric thought this would be the best venue. He appreciated the kind of attention to detail that he'd seen.

When he got to the building, it was oddly dark. He'd expected to find more life within. He walked around a couple of minutes before he ever saw another living creature.

"Excuse me." He smiled softly, not wanting to startle the poor human. "Can you direct me to the manager?"
