All I have to do... [Matthew]

"What do you mean I didn't graduate? I graduated. I was voted class protector!"

Buffy's protests ignored she turned quickly to leave an invisible authority figure, instead finding herself inside one of Sunnydale High School's long destroyed classrooms. Part of a wall with a chalk board was still up, and desks were lined neatly in rubble. Ms. Calendar stood in front of the class dressed in a black leather bondage suit, whip in hand. Jennifer Government stretched out over the teacher's desk like a cat, hand cuffed but also managing to eat an apple at the same time. Her former lover was difficult to focus on. Jennifer's arms were somehow outside Buffy's peripheral vision when she tried to inspect the front of the classroom more closely.

"I hope you all studied for today's test. It's worth fifty percent of your grade." There were groans from the other students, but when Buffy looked around her all the desks were empty.

"I got an A," Jennifer Government stated cooly with a smile.

"Of course you did," Jenny Calendar combed a strand of Jennifer's hair behind her ear.

Buffy looked down and saw she was wearing the white prom dress from her first year at Sunnydale and a black leather jacket. Unsure of what class she was even in, her forehead landed with a hard thud on top of her desk as she realized at the same time that she didn't have a pencil. Or a backpack. Or school books. Her mom was going to kill her.

As the slayer dreamt she whined into her pillow, troubled.

House hunting is hard when you are 4 inches tall. (Tink, city street, Open to Harley)

After her mysterious love affair in the park, Tink finally got her mind to right, or at least the parts that were right to begin with. Right for fae is very different from right for the vast majority of other creatures in the world or in any world. She had fallen in love with a strange man who was not unlike the Lost Boys of Neverland. It had not been love though, in the end she recognized the smell of magic all over their affections. Still it had been nice having such an fling, it had quite brightened her new arrival to this sentient city.

Now the little fairy was back to her usual )

And what now? (Betty)

There was so much to think about. So much going on at the moment that caused great bit rolling blackouts of thought in his head. He couldn't help it.

Dexter called out of work for the week because he couldn't keep his focus on anything.

Baba had talked to him about being himself. Really being himself. And yes, he'd thought about that before. That he didn't have the same worries here that he had back in Miami. He didn't have to follow the same rules, really. There was nobody here worried about him like that. Except Deb now. But if he were to be sure to keep her out of it, to make sure that SHE never knew, then it would be okay, wouldn't it?

That was the only thing holding him back, really. And she knew what he was, what he did. Even if she didn't want to talk about it. There was the fact that she was his sister, and loved him no matter what.

Oh. But there was something else, wasn't there? Somebody else.

Dexter thought about her while he sipped his coffee at the outdoor table of a cafe.

"What about George?" He said it in a low voice, without really realizing that he'd said it out loud.

When All is Said and Done {Mad Sweeney}

Jack wasn't sure what was going on lately but it was equal parts frustrating and confusing.  Gwen and Ianto being here was definitely a very good thing but it still irked him and he had so many questions.  How did they get here?  Where was here?  Was this heaven and they were all dead, even Jack?  Had he finally figured out a way to die and stay dead without even realising it?

He sighed in frustration and looked up to see the bar in front of him.  Funny he hadn't realised he was anywhere near there.  But then again, whatwas it someone told him, the City takes you where you need to be, not necessarily where you want to go?  Or maybe it was something different but it was close to that.  He pushed open the door and stepped inside.  There weren't a lot of people there and Jack moved to the end of the bar and sat down.  He moved his great coat out of the way and leaned on his elbows as he reached for the bowl of bar nuts.

Getting the bartender's attention, he ordered a plain glass of guiness, smiling as it didn't take long to get his pint. Jack smiled and thanked the man before taking a longer than usual drink.  He turned a bit to his right so he could keep looking around, see who was actually here and if it was anyone he knew.
