Nobody knew how deep Gwen Cooper's private pain really was. Nobody knew (besides Jack and Ianto) that she had been popping painkillers at a pretty decent clip to keep the blinding mirgaines at bay. Nobody knew her heart was still in Cardiff and that the simple ring around her neck was also her link to Rhys. Nobody knew Gwen had still not been able to really mourn for her fallen friends. Nobody knew she would not let anyone see her cry, not even Jack. Nobody knew she could still hear Owen's wisecracks and the tapping keys of Tosh's keyboard. Nobody (besides Jack,Ianto and Rhys) knew she would cry herself into a massive headache over anything that reminded her of Owen and Tosh.

For now Gwen spent another lonely night wandering the city and trying to unravel what exactly she was feeling. She was just more scared of letting anyone see her crack...
