No evil is allowed here
Is behavior inherited?

If you watched and experienced bad things does that mean you will also do those bad things to others?

Do you have to turn into who your parents were?

I don't think so. It can be learned, but certainly not inherited. And a person doesn't have to turn into who their parents were, either. I didn't. They.. well, they probably weren't the best or nicest at my age, my father at least. He changed later on, but back then it was really bad. I can't really recognize him as the same man in the books and movies There's a group who who'd tell you exactly how bad he was if asked

But me? I wasn't like them, I didn't repeat their past. I have some of their qualities but not so much on the negative side. I've met a few not nice people and experienced hurt in my time too, however I.. I didn't usually give it back out. I'd learned early on that there's always a better way than how it was before. And so can anyone else, you can have full control over whoever you wish to be, and the only one who can decide your path in life is yourself if you believe.

But you did not live with him when he did bad things, did you?

No, but I heard about it in school a lot for seven years. Also saw it all over the TV here, and read it in all our books. I know that's different than living with it and seeing it personally and having to live with it, but the TV stuff came really close. I think he'd changed after nearly losing everything in the war. Their whole world had lost things because of that conflict.

It was the same with him though too, same circumstances.. his parents were bad and he tried to copy them, thought it was right when it was actually bad. It was later that he saw how much that it was wrong, that he didn't have to be like them, that he can choose different ways. He made the choice to try being good, and eventually it worked out. It didn't always work out for some in my family, but it did for my parents.

But he still chose to follow their ways for a time, yes?

Yes, he did for a time. There were some bad choices for a while before he stopped following those wrong ways.
