Hi, Katniss. My name's Florence and I actually run Sanctuary with my foster daughter. If you need anything, don't hesitate to let me know, alright? We try and keep everyone well stocked with food and things, but I know it can be difficult to settle into a new place.

We do have some forests near here, but honestly, you don't have to hunt. You're welcome to do so for fun or comfort, but don't feel you have to. You don't have to fight for your food here, or your comfort. I promise. I know that's likely hard to believe right now, but it is entirely true.

You don't have to. Not yet. Take your time to get to know your surroundings. We all understand because we've all been there before. This world is entirely different from yours and you have the chance to simply get to know it. Don't feel you need to pay anyone back. That's what we're all here for.

You're welcome to take to the woods to hunt, sweetheart, you simply aren't required to do so to fend for yourself, that's all. If that's what you enjoy, do so. Or is there anything else you enjoy?

Exploring the city is usually recommended the first week or so. It can get complicated, especially when it's a world different from your own.

We've got quite a few libraries available if you'd like to read about them? You could even borrow one to take to the woods with you since I'll bet some of ours are different to you.

There are. It's a city, though a small one. But you don't have to see it all at once.

You absolutely can. I don't know what all we have on plants and herbs here in our library, but I'll bet we can find you something.

I'm sure it is, especially if you're not from here. You'll get used to it. Just may take some time is all.

On this one, you'll have to trust me.

But many people come here from the same worlds. A lot of them are from different times and they weren't noticed missing by the people ahead of them. Some get sent home and then returned and said nothing had changed.

I'm afraid that's all the proof I have.

Well you're welcome over anytime you're feeling a bit lonely. This place can be difficult at times and it helps having friends. You're welcome to dinner, if you'd like, or else I tend to make too many sweets for just Bo and me. But only if you're feeling up to it.
