Okay, so the timing was a little inconvenient there, I'll admit it. But Dru, what I feel in my heart is true. I've been meaning to tell you this for a while now, but I waited too long. You know I'm no good with this kind of thing. I waited because I was too weak, and for that, I was beaten to it by ~~that creep~~ another man. But now that I've said it, even if it wasn't in the best of context, I want to be strong. I want to be worthy of your love. I can't stand another day of being in that line with you so near yet so far away. Please, won't you just...give me a chance?

(ooc: I'm thinking Angel really, really wants turkey so he'll try and woo her for the rest of this plot if that's all right? It's going to be totally obvious that he's doing this for his love of food than Dru, but he'll be pretty relentless about it, hoping to guilt her into letting him down gently with comfort food. Truth be told, I just got caught up on the going-ons tonight, but I've been going back on all those cryptic ooc plot posts--major failage, I know--and I think I've got that Dru and Booth are an item with Spike on the side...maybe adding Angel into the mix would be too much, but figures he'd impinge on Spike's turf? Even if his true goals lie elsewhere...>_>)

Not pretty words, Dru. I'm not good with words. But they're words from the depths of my soul. I swear it, even knowing that I've given you little cause to believe me, because these words are all that I have left to give you. I was too shy to approach you before, but then you met him and I couldn't bring myself to make things difficult for you. I loved you too much for that. By God, I tried, Dru, I really did. This...farce, of keeping what's beating so loudly in my head hidden from the only woman I have ever loved...I literally cannot keep this up for another minute. My feelings for you are so strong that every moment I am with you and cannot be with you, I feel as though I would explode.

But you're right. Words, they're all but words! I'm going to prove it to you, Dru. Prove that I love you with every fibre of my being. Even as a man so undeserving of your affection, I cannot bear the thought of never having the courage to make my feelings known to you and regretting it for the rest of my life. I want you to understand--to feel--that my love for you is true and genuine. That a single glance from you brings me into a state of euphoria that transcends all description. Even if you choose his heart over mine, I will die happy just knowing that you know. I will prove it to you, Dru. I don't know how yet, but I will.

(ooc: Pretty much. XD Hooray! I think I'll go with Herb Saunders from that one episode with the whole 'I love boat trips' because that's just too funny. And man, his whole drabble up there is so cheesy, haha.)
