I find myself tired lately though I assure you I don't have the flu. The ones you have here don't really do that much by way of affecting me.

That said, if any of you do need anything brought to you, let me know.

And I'm taking a few days break from Classes if thats okay. Work on on the work you have and we'll resume next week?

I'm giving him a chance. You can call me foolish or question why but he gets one chance to proove himself. He's the only other Time Lord here and that means the decision is mine.

I know the things he has done and I'm not saying forgive.

Can you just trust that I know what I'm doing?

The Time Lord I spoke of having arrived, he calls himself the Master. He has done things, terrible things. But I wonder might being here be a chance for him. I hope that it is.

I'm keeping a careful eye, and he is getting one chance from me. I cannot speak for you and yours and its unlikely the others of my dimension would want him in the complex. I'll figure something out.

If you want to look in my head and see what I saw, then we can talk, because while you ordered the destruction of a planet? Did you see it burn? Because I saw what he caused. And unless you've seen it? You have no right to judge. Fine me. We'll do this.

I could look, and I could see. But the Doctor told me all I needed to know of it. I could look in the Master's mind if it came to it.

I know enough. I didn't see it burn. But I saw the beginnings. I saw Daleks, in numbers you couldn't concieve. All of them converging on the Citidel. I saw death, destruction and chaos and I gave the order.

Forgiveness isn't easy Martha. And yes, it is up to me because I'm a Time Lady.

	Telling isn't the same. I want you to look in mine. Should say something that I'm willing to trust you with doing that. Because I know the damage it could do. And that is something you live with. Its no different. They destroyed your planet. He may has well have destroyed mine. And why? So he could wage war on the rest of the galaxy! HE IS A MONSTER! Are you even listening to yourself?! He has had so many chances! I looked him up in the TARDIS databank! Do you want to say that what he did wasn't cruel? Slaughtering millions?! The only reason he didn't win was because he forgot about the Archangel Network! And just because the damage was undone does not negate what he did!

He is just as bad as a Dalek or a Cyberman! You wouldn't be saying the same thing if he'd done this on Gallifrey! If it had been your planet? You'd be calling for his head! So don't you DARE tell me that it isn't the same. I've been in your position. I had the key that would destroy earth in my hand!

...He isn't going to change, Romana. He can't change. He doesn't have the capacity.

You still have yours. Whatever he did, he was stopped. He was able do be stopped. Do you think me so much less than the Doctor that I couldn't stop him if he crosses that line again. The Daleks though. They couldn't be.

You had the key to your planets destruction in your hand. So had I. But I gave the order. I did it. So don't tell me its the same. Its not the same. And he's not just as bad as the Daleks or Cybermen. Cruel yes, but not entirely without feeling.

I don't trust him. I really don't. Bur please Martha. Understand that I have to give him this chance.

What I think is that he'll find a weakness and exploit it. Whether you know that he's doing it or not. It doesn't have to do with you being able to stop him, with us being able to stop him, it has to do with being able to catch it before it happens. And no one can do that. The doctor only travels with the best. You know that. I know that. This is because the Master is literally a wild card. He's too unpredictable. And unstable. And he's dangerous.

I'm worried. About you. About us - all of us. And what he could do. And will do if he gets the chance. If he'd been given the chance he'd have destroyed us. Using the Toclofane. He would have.

I understand. I do. The only timelady here. I do. Believe me. But what if one chance is too much. You gave him one and he ran off. And then I saw that bloody watch and started this whole thing! You see? I'm as much to blame for this as anyone else! The whole godamned was my fault! That stupid watch! He had a chance. And he purposefully gave it up. I'm not letting this drop. But if you must give him that chance understand that I'm going to watch him like a hawk.

I am not letting something like that happen again.
