So, I talked to Castiel. Apparently name dropping and glossing things over wasn't a great plan. Told him I was working with you on something, that I needed to be hidden from angels and you'd pointed me in his direction. He said he couldn't do that right now, but he knows another way. He was asking what the plan was and I really had no clue what to tell him. I didn't really think honesty would be the best policy, here, so I just told him I needed to talk to you first and I'd get back with him.

I didn't even know they'd made a sequel to Grease.

And as I sit here watching it, I can't understand why they did. The songs are catchy and the lead actors are beautiful (Michelle Pfeiffer? Really?) but the premise is impossible to get into when you consider how ridiculous it is.

Never mind the somewhat crass portrayal of the Cold War. We're going to let that slide in comparison.

So. I began to give the bats names in the cave. And then it occurred to me-I was giving bats names and remembering which one was which. Maybe it's time I've stopped being a shut in and re-wiring things out of total paranoia and talked to some real people. So..hi.

I've faced everything that goes bump in the night, surely I can face coffee deprived morning people.

This is the first Remembrance Day (or Veterans' Day as it seems to be called here) that I haven't been involved in something. Even the year I was deployed, we marked the day.

Anyway, I plan to raise a glass later to the men and women I served with who never made it home. And all those who came before us.

What's everyone doing for Thanksgiving? I was thinking that those of us with no one to celebrate with might celebrate together. We could each bring a dish of something.

Just a thought.
