I basically decided people needed something vaguely silly to raise spirits. Now back to patrols

ooc: Mick has a film projector set up there loaded with a couple older movies including His Girl Friday. He's going to project them onto a relatively smooth wall up there. There are also cushions to sit on and a giant bowl of popcorn for her.

These classes are quite informative. Might not use all of it when I go back.. but useful here, in this place at least. Especially the exorcisms. Turns out that taking classes in Latin back home is helpful to me in that area. My other self also apparently has some supplies in his storage. Salt, iron, and what I think is holy water (which I could help to make more of). I'd be willing to pass some out if others' supplies are lesser. I'd hope other!me wouldn't mind. Hopefully he's not the stingy or hoarding type.

Strange being here, still. I've read all about the Apocalypse in school, and in the church research groups, about the end, Lucifer, the Horsemen, all that. And I'm here now actually living in it. Temporarily though, since I would go back when it's my time. And.. looking through my papers at my home, I was married here? And went to Yale, and military academy before that. That's so different from my past. He has no crosses here though, not even one Bible But at least this other version of me is able to find happiness even in a war like this, and to have friends. Though, I do wonder what he's doing now in my place or what he thinks of it.

I don't know exactly what protections are on this house I'm living at. I've managed to use some magic to discern a few of them but not all. So maybe I'll try to get a temporary room in the complex, especially with all the crazy going on now.

Not really sure what I'll do when I go back. Maybe hang out with my brother more. Or visit my former professors from Hogwarts, or see about some work. I guess there's always the Daily Prophet, or MoM work with transport or magical artifacts division. Hopefully other!me hasn't changed too much of it for me or made anyone suspicious of anyth But I am glad that this other version of myself, that he has friends here. And that he does have a family in his own world too.

I just got an idea. Miniature portkey? I'm not quite the magic duelist, but I've always had an aptitude for transport application and operation. Portkeys, floo network, apparition, etc. My idea is to make a little portkey object and then put it in something. Like in a small bag or something. So if someone gets taken again, they just reach in and touch it, wham, they get sent somewhere safe. Maybe to the complex lobby area.

I don't think I could go on any more missions for a while. I'm okay in a fight, it's just the.. after stuff, it's sort of an issue given my past. We saw it, how I nearly broke down after that big one Can't go through that all over again, just cant I'd more likely be a liability. So rather than put me at risk and the teams, maybe I can help out in other ways. Like with the portkey thing, or maybe enchantments. But emergency portkey options are definitely something I could assist with.

Seeing as I went to kiss my girlfriend this morning and was met with a look of disgust, I'm going to assume not all of us have returned to Lawrence. And that many of us went other places and not just myself.

Either that or she simply doesn't care for me any longer, and I'm not fond of that idea.
