War Is Coming Communications.

I've been meaning to do this for a long time, but I kept getting side-tracked and then Glinda got sent home again, but I think now certainly calls for one of our meetings.

But in this meeting, I was hoping we could pool our knowledge and try to come up with amulets to protect against Dark's effects. I know at least a few of us were here the last time Dark and his carnival were in town, such as myself, but protection magic isn't exactly my strong suit. So hopefully if we all put our minds and magic together, we can come up with something to help.

So, Hermione had a brilliant idea. If this Dark guy is so anti-good-feelings and all, what better way to go about taking him down than a shield built from happiness, right? Which is basically what a Patronus is. So, my question is, who from our world can conjure one? And has there been any successful cross-worlds-magic use before? Because I have no clue if or how that would work but if we could manage to get other magic users learning how to adapt the spell for their own brand of magic, we'd be that much stronger.

So with all this talk of Dark and Elena's ridiculous penchant for trouble, I'm thinking perhaps we need to find a way to keep her inside and away from Dark. If we all stay inside and away from the carnival that should reduce the risk but call me over protective, I'm thinking of finding a way to keep her inside the house and away from Dark until he's dealt with. I mean, she once slipped through two vampires and a hybrid who were outside of our house without anyone noticing.

Back home Bonnie found a way to put a barrier around the house that kept Elena and only Elena inside. Is there any way we can do that here? I'm not losing her again
