He felt tired nearly since returning. It was an exhausting thing trying to adjust to all the sounds and colors all over again, but it wasn't a bad thing. Robin had hardly left his side, sat near him while he slept. It brought him a comfort to be surrounded by those who he loved, to know they wanted him there. He'd often wondered that before. Thought at the corner of his mind they were maybe just tolerating him, but now he knew. He could see it all over Robin's face when he was awake, that concern. Almost as though he might slip away again if Robin were to leave, but he tried to reassure his friend he would not. He tried to reassure them that it would be all right if he took a break, he was not going to go anywhere again if he could help it.
Jane was coming. Marian had persuaded Robin to do something-what, Much wasn't entirely sure. Sometimes things were still fuzzy and he zoned out at times. But mostly he was just fine. He had his outlaw tag on again, his hat back in place. The only things that were missing were his sword and shield. He wondered what happened to them. He liked that shield. Robin had gotten them both for him, the one he'd lost to the dragon and then the second. He didn't own much but the things he did own he cherished.
He went to the sink to splash cool water on his face, hoping that would wake him up some. When he looked in the mirror he could swear he saw the injuries he'd suffered before death. Glass stuck in odd places that it ought not to be stuck in, blood. But none of it was really there. He looked down at his body and touched his face to make sure, and it was clean. No injury anywhere. Not even scars. That seal could really do some strange magic. He looked back at the mirror again and saw himself as he truly was. No injuries, no nothing. Just him. He ventured back out into the small living room and sat down to wait on the small sofa.
